Christina Jean AppleberryChristina Jean Appleberry is the daugh-

ter of Donna Jean Woodson and Holly and Kavin Owings. Christina’s favorite memo-ry of her high school years is meeting the Governor. Her favorite teachers are Ms. Hussey, Mr. Mike, and Ms. Nation. Dur-ing high school, Christina was involved in track, basketball, FFA, SADD, and Re-naissance Club. She received an award for scoring the highest points on the MAP test and an MVP award. Christina wants to say thank you to both of her parents for help-ing her through school and “to Ms. Hussey, Mr. Mike and Ms. Nation for being there.” After graduating Christina plans to find a good job.

Hilaire Cheyenne ArnoldHilaire Arnold is the daughter of Don-

nie and Heather Arnold. Hilaire was ac-tive in the FFA, band, Interact, and Drama club all four years. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Stratmann, Mr. Hutchinson, and Mr. Chambers for being straightforward and preparing her for the world outside of her comfort zone. Hilaire plans to attend MACC in the fall to enter the field of nurs-ing. She would like to thank her parents and family for all the encouragement and pushing her through the rough times.

Shelby Katheren AsburyShelby Asbury is the daughter of David

and Lisa Asbury. Shelby played the flute in the Falcon Pride Marching Band all four years, was boys’ basketball manager for two years, was involved in National Honor Society, FCCLA, Yearbook, Math and Science Club, Spanish Club, Falcon Club, Renaissance Club, and was a mem-ber of the 2012 Close-up Organization. She was a Renaissance Gold Card holder for seven semesters. Mr. Bryan was her favorite teacher, because “I didn’t realize how much I was interested in the Health Sciences until I took his anatomy class. He is one of the reasons why I want to become a nurse.” Shelby has received Board of Ed-ucation Awards all four years along with multiple academic awards. Shelby plans to attend Central Methodist University after graduation to major in nursing to get her BS in Nursing. She would like to thank her parents, family, and friends for “always be-ing there and helping her along the way.”

Ronald Allen BakerRonnie Baker is the son of Carmen

Forbes and Billy Shiflett. Ronnie has been in FFA all through high school, earning his Greenhand degree. Ronnie’s favorite teacher is Mr. Bryan because “he has been there with me and made me see that it was important to keep my grades up.” Ronnie is proud that he is going to graduate even though it was not always easy. He plans on going to Missouri Welding Institute after graduating. “I want to give thanks to all of the staff members at Fayette High School for standing behind me and believing in me. I would also like to thank my parents and my brothers for supporting me.”

Jonathan Landon BallLandon Ball is the son of Lynette

Snell. His senior year he was Co-President of FCS, member of Black Experience, President of FTA, member of NHS, Vice President of Falcon Club, and a member of Math and Science Club. His senior year he played football, basketball, and base-ball. He plans to graduate and attend Tru-man State University and earn a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Sciences (Physical Therapy). His favorite teach-er is Mr. Bryan. His favorite memories were spending anatomy-free days playing tennis-basketball and firing marshmal-lows from a cannon. “Thank you to all the teachers and coaches who were patient with me. Also, thank you to Mr. Bryan for convincing me to play football, inspiring my career in physical therapy, and for be-ing the best science teacher ever.”

Anna Marie BaxterAnna Baxter is the daughter of Cathe-

rine and Curtis Baxter. She played the sax-ophone all four years in band. Anna was a silver card holder throughout all four years of high school. She was the first president of the Interact Club during her senior year. Anna was also involved in Math and Sci-ence, FCCLA, Drama, and Black Experi-ence clubs. Anna’s favorite teacher was Mrs. Bloom because she would always be there if you needed to talk, and she was really cool. Anna plans to attend Central Methodist University next fall. She would like to thank her parents, siblings, friends, family, and teachers for loving, support-ing, and encouraging her throughout her life and school.

Nicholas Roger BeckettNick Beckett is the son of Kenneth and

Lucinda Beckett. Nick has been on the football team all four years, and was bas-ketball manager his senior year. Nick was a member of the golf team, where he was a district finalist his junior year. Nick’s fa-vorite teacher was Mrs. Pope because “she is a clever lady who really cares about her job. Mrs. Pope also has a spectacular sense of humor and is good at her job.” His favor-ite classes were Chemistry and Algebra II. He has been accepted to go to CMU where he will play golf and take some time to de-cide on his major. His favorite memory of high school was watching people grow up into the adults they will be the rest of their lives, which “makes me sort of scared.”

Kelsey Leigh BeelerKelsey Beeler is the daughter of Paul

and Tammy Beeler. Kelsey was a mem-ber of Spanish Club, Math and Science Club, vice president of FCCLA, secre-tary of NHS and Falcon Club, and was a Renaissance Gold Card Holder for seven semesters. She was a member of the Foot-ball/Competition Cheerleading Squad and played clarinet in the Falcon Band. She was also girls’ basketball manager. Her fa-vorite memory is attending Close Up and being selected to attend Missouri Girls State. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Swan-son because “she is like my second mom, in and out of the classroom!” Kelsey plans on attending Central Methodist University after graduation and majoring in second-ary education with a focus on math. She will also be a member of the CMU Spirit Squad. She would like to thank her parents for “always being there for me, no matter how hard headed I was.”

Lucy Corynne BeelerLucy Beeler is the daughter of Kevin

Beeler and Laura Beeler. Lucy identified her favorite teachers as Mrs. Swanson and Mr. James because, “I didn’t have to go and just sit in a desk the entire time. We could be moving around, laughing, and learning all at the same time.” Lucy was involved in Math and Science Club, National Honor Society, and Student Council. She played the French horn in the Falcon Band, was a member of the varsity track team for three years, and was a member of the Competi-tion/Football Cheerleading Squad for three years. Her plans after high school include attending Missouri State University in Springfield. She would like to thank all of her teachers, her grandparents, and her family.

Hollie Lea BouldenHollie Boulden is the daughter of Oran

and Sandy Boulden. Hollie has been active in many clubs including historian of FC-CLA, Spanish Club, Math and Science Club, Falcon Club, SADD, Renaissance Club, and NHS. She was a Gold Card Holder, a par-ticipant in the Close Up 2012 organization, and a member of the Fayette Track Team. She received Academic Awards and Fayette Board of Education Awards all four years. Hollie’s favorite teacher, though difficult to pick, “would have to be Mrs. Stornello be-cause she is very laid back and easy to talk to and has made a huge impact on the devel-oped writer I am today.” After graduation, Hollie’s plans are to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia. She would like to say thank you to “all of my teachers, my friends, my three siblings, and especially my parents and Nana who put up with me through all of the stressful high school moments and have supported me no matter what.”

Yahshima Wionna BrinkleyYahshima Brinkley is the daughter of

Nathaniel Brinkley and Anita Allen. Yah-shima was involved in Black Experience Club all four years. Yahshima’s favorite teachers are Mrs. Uthlaut, Ms. Williams, and Mrs. Asbury because, “They have pushed me to become a better student and person. Because of these three beautiful women staying on me, I am graduating and going off to live my dream with the correct attitude!” Yahshima plans to move back to Los Angeles, Calif., to attend American Musical Dramatic Academy next fall. She would like to thank everybody who “be-lieved in my dream and that never doubted me!”

Susan Diane BishopSusan Bishop is the daughter of Jeff and

Jamie Bishop. She was a member of the FHS Band, Choir, FFA, Math and Science Club, and was a class officer all four years of her high school career. She was also a Stu-dent Council representative for three years. Her favorite teacher was Mr. Chambers be-cause “he always pushed me to do more than I ever thought I could. He gave some of the best advice; and no matter how many times I argued, he was almost always right.” She plans on attending Central Methodist Uni-versity next year and majoring in Music Ed-ucation. She would like to thank her parents, her teachers, and her friends for pushing her to be the best she could be. “I would not be the person I am today without the support from all of you.”

Tyrae Shayonna BushTyrae Bush is the daughter of Cara

Bush. Tyrae was involved in Black Experi-ence Club for three years, Student Coun-cil for two years, FCS for two years, and Spanish Club. Her favorite teachers were Mr. Hutchinson because “he treated his students like people instead of just his stu-dents,” and Mrs. Uthlaut “because she al-ways made me happy no matter what kind of bad day I was having.” Tyrae’s ultimate goal in life is to become a juvenile officer. Her dream is to make the world a better place, starting with the children. She would like to thank all her teachers and her whole family. “I want to give special thanks to the main person in her life, my mother, for showing me who God is and for the years of wisdom and advice that have gotten me where I am today.”

Tessa Jeannette ChambersTessa Chambers is the daughter of

Doug and Susan Chambers. She has been involved in FFA, the Falcon Band, choir, Student Council, National Honor Soci-ety, Math and Science Club, Drama Club, was a Renaissance Gold Card holder ev-ery semester, and served as senior class secretary. She is currently serving as FFA chapter president and has also served as an Area FFA officer. Tessa’s favorite teacher is her dad, Mr. Chambers. “He has pushed me to succeed and has always been some-one I can look up to, while also having some hilarious times and creating some great memories.” Tessa says that FFA is what has developed her into the person she is today. Next year, she will be attending University of Missouri-Columbia and ma-joring in Science and Agriculture Journal-ism, as well as serving as a Missouri State FFA Officer. Tessa would like to thank her family and her friends for constantly being the support system on which she can rely.

Christina Dawn CoatesChristina Dawn Coates is the daughter

of Crystal Coats. She participated in FFA for three years, attending National and State FFA convention each year. She was an active participant at the Howard County Fair during her FFA experience. Christina would like to thank her grandparents and her mother for supporting her. She would also like to say “thanks to all the teachers that I have had in my senior year. I couldn’t have done it without you,” and she is ap-preciative of her valuable work experi-ences as an employee of Hawgs & Heifers. Christina says, “I will always remember the crazy trips to National FFA conven-tion and making a dash with Ms. Hussey before the bus left to get my picture taken with one of the cowboys!” After gradua-tion, Christina plans on attending Merrell Beauty School to become a beautician.

Kiera LeShai BushKiera LeShai Bush is the daughter of

Cara Bush and Deon Jones. Kiera’s fa-vorite teachers are Mrs. Page, Mrs. Greer, and Mrs. Asbury. Her favorite classes were English, P.E., and all classes she had with Mrs. Cooper. Kiera was a cheerleader and a member of the Black Experience Club. She was honored as Student of the Month her sophomore year, was Cheer Captain her sophomore year for basketball, and she was awarded most improved cheerleader, best jumps and most spirited awards in cheer-leading. Kiera’s future plans are to go to MACC for two years and then attend a cu-linary school.

Zachary Tyler CookZach Cook is the son of Kelly Beeler

and Rick Cook. He participated in football and basketball all four years, earning all-conference/all-district rewards his junior and senior years. His favorite memory from high school is “Coach Oakley’s reac-tion after the Salisbury game in the locker room.” His favorite teacher was the Span-ish teacher, Señora Bloom. After high school, Zach plans to attend college at the University of Missouri. Zach would like to thank his parents for supporting him and all of his coaches for “some of the best times of my life.”

De’Shawn Lee CowansDe’Shawn Cowans is the grandson of

Darlene Cowans. De’Shawn was in Black Experience all four years and became pres-ident his senior year. De’Shawn’s favorite teachers are Ms. Billie and Mrs. Valencia. He was a two-time silver Renaissance card holder and a gold card holder his senior year. De’Shawn plans to continue working at Fresh Ideas. He would like to thank Ms. Billie and Mrs. Valencia for helping him get through the four years. He also wants to thank his grandma, Darlene, for raising him to be the person he is today.

Madison Suzanne CrowMadison Crow is the daughter of Troy

and Rochelle Crow. Madison was active in FFA for four years, and was crowned Barn-warming Queen her senior year. She has been a clarinet player in the band all four years. She was also a member in the Re-naissance Club. Madison’s favorite teach-ers are Mr. Chambers and Mr. Hutchinson. She plans to attend MACC and enter into the field of nursing. Madison would like to thank her parents for helping her through all of the hard times and for always push-ing her forward. She would also like to thank the rest of her family and also her friends for encouraging her throughout her years in school.

Shelby Marie DodsonShelby Dodson is the daughter of Joy

Flanders and Edward Dodson. Shelby was involved in various clubs throughout high school, with her favorite being SADD. She received the academic award for outstand-ing achievements in Desktop Publishing and Algebra II. She plans to further her education at Central Methodist Univer-sity, where she will major in Nursing. She would like to thank her mom and dad for “telling me not to give up when things are tough.”

Nicholas Edward FolandNickie Foland is the son of Novy and

Mickie Foland. Nickie was involved in Fayette track for four years and received top point award for two years. He was also Drama Club president, NHS vice-presi-dent, SADD head committee chairman, and Drum Major for the Fayette band. Nickie’s favorite teacher is Ms. Floyd because of her relaxed style of teaching and how she connected with her favorite students both inside and outside of class. Nickie’s favor-ite memory was when he performed “Safe-ty Dance” with his group of friends for the Night at the Freddies. Nickie plans on going to Truman State University to learn music theory and composition. He would like to thank his friends and family for be-lieving him all the way through school and especially when times got tough.

Jonah Glen GallowayJonah Galloway is the son of Glen and

Julie Galloway. Jonah transferred to Fay-ette in the second semester of his junior year. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Monnig because “she is the only math teacher that I really have been able to learn from.” He would like to thank all of the teachers at Fayette for pushing him and gives “a spe-cial thanks to Mr. Rapert, Mr. Moorehead, and Ms. Billie for working so hard to help me graduate.”

Benjamin Charles HarrisBen Harris is the son of Rich Harris and

Pam Melloway. Ben has been involved in football and basketball all four years and baseball for three years. Ben was also in-volved in FFA, Falcon Club, and Span-ish Club. Ben’s favorite memory would have to be junior year whenever he and his classmates would have free time dur-ing Anatomy. Ben’s favorite teacher is Mr. Bryan because of all the weird conversa-tions and fun times shared with him since middle school. Ben plans on joining the U.S. Army after graduation and also at-tending college soon after. He wants to thank his teachers, parents, and friends for making his attendance at Fayette schools an amazing time in his life.

Dunivent and Tomas Dunivent. Gary was active in the Fayette football program for two years. His favorite teachers are Mrs. Valencia and Ms. Nation. Gary’s future plans are to attend college. Sterling Everett HeathSterling Heath is the son of Jamey

Heath and Trevia Heath. Sterling was in-volved all four years in FFA, earning his Greenhand Degree. Sterling’s favorite teacher was Mr. Bryan due to the “jokes, helpful advice, and occasional crazy side-conversations.” Sterling is planning on joining his uncle and grandfather in their work trade after high school. He would like to thank all the teachers who never gave up on him. “Thank you Ms. Williams for always pushing me and especially to my parents for not losing hope in me.”

Jana Kristine HoltzclawJana Holtzclaw is the daughter of Kris-

tine Vroman and John Holtzclaw. Jana was involved in choir during her high school years. Jana’s favorite teacher is Ms. Wil-liams “because she has been there for me, and made sure I’ve achieved.” Jana plans on taking online college courses to become a teacher. She would like to “thank my teachers and family, especially my mom and boyfriend for helping me and encour-aging me to go to school and also make sure I got good grades.”

Rashad Lammar JackmanRashad Jackman is the son of Lachan-

dra Jackman and Terry Jackson. Rashad was in Black Experience Club for three years and FCCLA. He played varsity bas-ketball his junior and senior years. Ra-shad’s favorite teacher is Mr. Kendrick because “he has been there for me and was very helpful. We could joke around with each other and had a close relationship.” Rashad would like to thank “all teachers and staff who helped me out. Also, thank you to my parents and other close family members for everything.”

Charles JohnsonCharles (CJ) Johnson is the son of Mar-

ita Harris and the grandson of Elsie John-son. CJ was involved in Fayette football his junior and senior years and track his junior and senior years. He received sec-ond team All-District linebacker and of-fensive player of the year for Fayette. CJ’s favorite teachers are Coach Heaton and Mrs. Stornello because “they both showed me that anything is possible if you try hard enough, that nothing is out of your reach, and to finish what you start no matter how hard or how much you are struggling in it.” CJ plans to go to college at Highland Community College and play football. “I would like to thank my teachers for push-ing me to succeed.” He would also like to thank his mother and grandmother for everything they have done to get him this far, and his older brothers for “being there to push me further and preaching to me to show me how to succeed.”

Onitisha KroekerOnitisha “Tay” Kroeker is the daugh-

ter of Kerry Kroeker. Tay was involved in SADD club for three years and her biggest achievement is being one of the founders of Project Prom. Tay’s favorite memory is when she performed at Night at the Fred-die’s along with Ms. Hussey, who is also Tay’s favorite teacher. She says, “When I had a wild idea, Ms. Hussey would support it no matter what.” Tay would like to thank Ms. Hussey for being a wonderful teacher and a friend. At this time, Tay’s plans after graduation are undecided.

Ashleigh Mary Kate LutzAshleigh Lutz is the daughter of Donnie

and Melissa Lutz. She has been an active member of the Falcon band for four years and the FHS choir for three years. She is a member of the Fayette FFA chapter and holds the office of vice-president in both her chapter and area association. Ashleigh has been a Renaissance Gold Card holder all four years of high school. She has been active in Drama and Math/Science clubs, and is president of National Honor Soci-ety, as well as vice president of Student Council. Ashleigh’s favorite teacher is Pat Hilgedick, who taught her in kindergarten. She says Mrs. Hilgedick “was always pa-tient and helpful, and always made sure to give you hug when you were sad. Good hugs are very important as a 5 year old. Mrs. Hilgedick sparked my love of learn-ing, and has shown continued support throughout the years.” Ashleigh plans to attend Missouri State University in Spring-field and major in Communication Disor-ders. She would like to thank her parents, brother, friends, and teachers for loving her and supporting her throughout her life.

Kenya Lashae JohnsonKenya Johnson is the granddaughter of

Elsie Johnson and the niece of Marita Har-ris. Kenya was member of FCS, Falcon Club, Spanish Club, Renaissance, secretary of FCCLA, and vice president of Black Ex-perience Club. Kenya’s favorite teachers were “Mrs. Monnig, Mr. Hutch, and Mrs. Uthlaut because they have always been there for me and helped me throughout high school. They have always made school an enjoyable experience for me, even the days I didn’t want to be there.” Kenya plans to attend Missouri State University in Spring-field next year to major in accounting. She would especially like to thank her grand-mother, aunt, family and friends “for never giving up on me, and staying by my side through all the hard times. I never would have made it without the help of all of you.”

Dustin Gene LeatonDustin Leaton is the son of Larry and

Patricia Leaton. Dustin was involved in the FFA for all four years in high school, where he earned his Greenhand degree and went to state for dairy cattle judging. Dustin was on the football team all four years and was team captain his senior year. He also achieved All-District and All-Conference awards during his time playing football. He would like to thank all of his family and teachers for the great moral advice he received during his schooling.

Cameron Ray MartinCameron Martin is the son of Kelly

Koenig and Steve Martin. Cameron was involved in FFA all four years of high school. While in FFA, he earned his Green-hand degree and went to state for dairy cat-tle judging. He served as the FFA treasurer. Cameron was also a member of the foot-ball team and received the Falcon Award. Cameron received two academic awards in body conditioning, a board award, and an MVP award. Cameron is planning to go to Linn State Technical School next school year. Michael Allen McBrideMichael McBride is the son of Jeffery

McBride. Michael identifies his favorite memory as “riding my horse in the home-coming parade.” Michael was involved in FFA for the past four years and earned his Greenhand degree. His future plans include becoming a welder. Michael’s fa-vorite teacher is Mrs. Stornello “because she made English easy for me.” Michael would like to thank his grandpa for helping him learn how to run a farm.

Samuel Edward MillerSam Miller is the son of Steve and Sue

Miller. He has been accepted into the Hon-ors College at Missouri State University in Springfield, where he will begin Pre-Law Studies this fall. He is currently consider-ing different majors that can conjoin his academic abilities with his enthusiasm for sports. To become a legal advisor or agent to a major sports program or professional players is a possible goal. At graduation time, Sam is contemplating how fortu-nate he is to have made so many wonder-ful friends in school and for having had so many wonderful teachers and mentors. Coaches Tom Oakley and Chris Kendrick stand out as teachers that Sam will always remember after playing football, basket-ball, and baseball on these coaches’ teams and for all the life lessons he has gained from them.

Kaleigh Nicole MonnigKaleigh Monnig is the daughter of Ma-

son and Lisa Gebhardt and Jason and Ka-trina Monnig. She was involved in the FHS Band all four years. She was vice-presi-dent of FCS her senior year, a member of Math & Science Club, Spanish Club, Re-naissance Club, National Honor Society, and was a Renaissance Gold Card holder all four years. Her favorite teacher was Mr. Bryan because “he was always willing to help if I didn’t understand something and he always made class fun!” Kaleigh plans to attend the University of Missouri after graduating and will possibly study dentist-ry. She would like to thank all of her teach-ers who have helped her and pushed her to succeed. She would also like to thank her parents for believing that she could make it this far and for encouraging her about the future.

Kate Laree MooreheadKate Moorehead is the daughter of Geoff

and Jennifer Moorehead. Her favorite teach-ers were Mrs. Pope and Ms. Bloom. “Mrs. Pope is the type of teacher who does not mind spending extra time with students outside of the typical classroom. She would come to the school at 9:00 at night if a student needed help! Mrs. Bloom was always very understanding and very easy to get along with. I have been with her since gifted in first grade.” During her high school career, Kate participated in many extracurricular activi-ties. She was a member of the Lady Falcon Track Team all four years and a cheerleader for her junior and senior years, where she was captain of the football squad. Kate was president of FCCLA. She also participated in Math and Science Club, Spanish Club, National Honor Society, Falcon Club, and was a Renaissance Gold Card holder all four years of high school. Kate plans to attend the University of Missouri and possibly study pharmacology. She would like to thank her family for always providing a positive out-look for her and her teachers for getting her where she is today in education.

Madison Lea PhillipsMadison Phillips is the daughter of

Susan Phillips and the granddaughter of Carolyn and Dallas Phillips. Madison’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Stornello because “she has helped me a lot in figuring out what I want to do when I graduate, and she is always encouraging me and believing in me.” Madison plans to attend MACC this fall and eventually get her degree in nurs-ing. She would like to give a huge thanks to her mom and grandparents “for believ-ing in me, and never giving up on me.”

Chanel Janay RainerChanel Rainer is the daughter of Chris-

tie Patrick and Carter Rainer. Chanel’s favorite teacher in high school was Mr. James because “he tells it the way it is.” Chanel plans to attend State Fair Commu-nity College in Sedalia, where she plans to study radiology. She would like to thank her mom and dad for always being there for her and making sure she succeeded.

Allison Page MooreAlison Moore is the daughter of David

and the late Sheri Moore. She has been in-volved in FFA all four years. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Billie Williams. After high school, Allison plans to pursue courses in horticulture and work in a greenhouse. Al-lison says “I had a pretty hard four years but I stand before you today with a big smile on my face knowing that I will go far and be somebody one day.” She would like to say thank you Ms. Williams and Ms. Bridget Hussey for believing in her and helping her accomplish her goals in school. She wouldn’t have done it without her family standing by her side cheering her on through it all.

Ezekiel Cruz RobinsonZeke Robinson is the son of Anna Rob-

inson-Cross and Ernie Robinson. Zeke was involved in FFA for three years of his high school career. Zeke attended Moberly Area Technical Center his senior year where he took Machine Tool Technology. Zeke plans on attending State Fair Community Col-lege after graduation, where he will major in Mechanical Engineering for two years, and then transfer to Missouri University of Science and Technology to finish his col-lege education in the same field.

Kirby Lewis SchoephoersterKirby Schoephoerster is the son of Dr. Paul

and Lisa Schoephoerster. Kirby medaled in golf, was president of Student Council, class president, and a member of the FHS band. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Falcon Club, Math and Sci-ence Club, Renaissance Club, and the Aca-demic Bowl Team, and took solos in baritone and piano to District and State level compe-tition. Kirby has also attended Boys State, Close-Up, Missouri Leadership Seminar, and three Missouri State Student Council Conven-tions that he feels have made him an effective citizen and leader for the future. Kirby will be attending St. Olaf College in Minnesota this fall. “I’m extremely excited for my future as an Ole. I plan to go into college with the hopes of receiving a well-rounded liberal arts educa-tion. The education I have received in the Fay-ette School District has prepared me well for this transition.” He also states that, “Every teacher that I have had has had a huge impact on my understanding of academics, athletics, and life in general. I am who I am today thanks to the teachers I have had, the friends I have grown up with, and the family whom I love.”

anna Thomas. Debra’s favorite teachers are Mr. Besgrove and Mrs. Cochran because “they helped me catch up on my credits so that I could graduate with my class.” After graduation Debra will be attending Sam Brown’s Cosmetology & Barber In-stitute. She would like to thank her family for “all the help they’ve given me” and her mom because “without her I couldn’t have done it. You have been my rock!”

Buckler and Dale Ridgwell. Janie has been a recipient of a Board Award every year of high school. She has also received multiple academic awards each year in high school. Janie’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Straatmann for “inspiring not only what is heard, but what is shown and seen by words at their finest.” Janie plans to further her education in by attending college, with an emphasis in psychology. Her biggest thanks go to her mother and father for “teaching me to walk, when limits abound before the feet.”

Thomas Bowers WaggonerThomas Waggoner is “an established

member” of the Waggoner family, “fa-thered by J.B. Waggoner, and mothered by Dori Waggoner.” His favorite memory of high school is a series of events involving a group of people that he only can describe as “not being at liberty to say.” His favor-ite teacher is Mr. Oakley because Personal Finance was “the most practical class I ever took… and he put up with making fun of the Cubs.” Thomas participated in four years of golf, two years of Academic Bowl, and one year of football. Thomas also wants to mention that he enjoyed the many rides to golf matches on the infa-mous “short bus,” despite many mechani-cal issues. He wishes to thank his parents, friends, and teachers for helping develop his innate sense of humor.

Caitlin Ray WellsCaitlin Wells is the daughter of Marc

and Janet Wells. Caitlin was involved in basketball and softball all four years, earn-ing All-Conference honors in basketball and All-Conference and All-District hon-ors for pitching in softball. She also earned the W&K All-Tournament Basketball Team her senior year. Caitlin’s favorite teachers are Coach James and Coach Ken-drick because “I was able to go to them with anything, whether it was about school or sports. I could always count on them to give me the complete and total truth, and they would always work as hard as they could to help me succeed.” Caitlin plans to attend State Fair Community College to study radiology. “I would like to thank my parents for backing me and supporting me in all my sports and academics and for pushing me to succeed and make me the individual I am today.”

Guese and Donnie Triebsch. He has been active in the Moberly Area Technical Cen-ter, including two years of Computer In-formation Systems and one year of Com-puter Aided Design Drafting. His favorite teacher is Mr. Bryan because he helped motivate him during times that it was easy to get sidetracked. He plans to study pre-engineering at MACC utilizing his A+ scholarship, then go to Missouri Univer-sity of Science and Technology to pursue a degree in mechanical and aerospace engi-neering. He would like to thank his family and friends for helping him with various problems throughout the last four years.

Micki Polson and Pete Thornton. Kennzie was involved in softball and basketball all four years, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference in both sports her senior year. Jessie Marvin Williams IVJessie Marvin Williams IV is the son

of Arnetta Hill and Jessie Williams II, and the grandson of Jessie Williams I. Jessie’s most vivid memory is when Mr. Rapert dropped his lunch on the floor, bent to pick it up and hit his head on the microwave door. Jessie’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Va-lencia. Jessie volunteered at the food pan-try, worked in the cafeteria, and helped the custodian. After graduation, Jessie plans to get a good job. Jessie would like to thank his grandpa, Ms. Billie Williams, and Mrs. Valencia for putting up with him for four years.

Cortny Rose WellsCortny Rose Wells is the daughter of

Adam Wells and granddaughter of Dusty and Vicky Wells. She was voted “most ar-tistic” her eighth grade year. Her favorite memory from her time at FHS is going to St. Louis to see the musical “Wicked” with Ms. Hussey. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Frevert and Ms. Hussey because they “are both so sweet, and give wonderful advice.” Her favorite subjects include art, language arts, and psychology. Her future plans include being involved in theater and writing. She would like to thank all the teachers who provided her with “emo-tional support and helped me get through some tough times.” She would also like to thank her family for “pushing me to be my best, even when I wouldn’t listen.”

Grant Thomas WilderGrant Wilder is the son of Steve and

June Wilder. Grant was involved in SADD and Spanish Club for three years, as well as being a member of FCS and FTA. He received an academic award for American history sophomore year and an academic award for geography senior year. His fa-vorite classes were American History and Sociology. He would like to teach at a college level and does not have a favorite teacher, but thanks them all for their assis-tance throughout his public school years.

Samantha Lyn WilliamsSamantha Williams is the daughter of

Tony and Sheri Williams. Samantha was involved in competition, football, and bas-ketball cheerleading all four years. She also managed the baseball team for three years. Her favorite teacher, although hard to choose, was Mrs. Stornello because “she really pushed me to be a better writer, whether I wanted to or not, and she treat-ed me like I was an adult rather than try to shelter me from the reality of the real world.” Samantha was active in Student Council, National Honor Society, Math and Science Club, Falcon Club, and Span-ish Club. Samantha’s favorite memory in high school was earning second place at the State Cheerleading competition her ju-nior year. Once she graduates, Samantha plans to attend Stetson University in De-Land, Fla., and possibly earn a degree in theatre. Samantha would like to say thank you to “my parents, my sisters, my teach-ers, and Coach Cooper because, while they all drove me nuts, they have definitely shaped me into who I am today.”
