◦Meet the Team Leaders
Update on school’s current context:
• Created and implemented a Raising Attainment Plan (RAP) which targeted the development points identified by Ofsted.
• The RAP includes clear criteria for focussed and stringent monitoring by senior leaders, subject leaders and governors to ensure improvements are secured, and next steps are identified.
• Commissioned a NLE to carry out a Review of Pupil Premium at the school. This has resulted in the design and implementation of a new ‘3-Layered’ Pupil Premium Strategy, which is led by David Aston.
• Commissioned the LA to carry out a Review of Governance at the school, which has led to the appointment of a Link Governor for Pupil Premium; a restructuring of governor meetings, to ensure a clear focus on raising standards; and governor participation in weekly ‘Evidence Capture’ meetings with the Head and Deputy.
• Undergone an Ofsted Section 8 Monitoring Inspection Visit by a HMI on 25th June, 2015
