points, Level 5/5*/5** = 5/6/7 points) of each of the 4 Core subjects and 1 Elective subject in HKDSE by the
respective subject weighting as stipulated by the programme concerned, and then adding the products of
each of the 5 subjects together.
^ The admission score is normally calculated based on the converted points of the 4 core subjects and 1
elective subject for all programmes. For all programmes, students should normally have met the general
entrance requirements of the University, i.e. attaining in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education
(HKDSE) Examination results of

Liberal Studies : Level 2 or above
