The fundraising objective will be carried out by means of an immense Gala dinner event. This event will encompass invitation to various private sector companies and Alumni. Money will therefore be raised throughout the course of the Gala dinner in terms of entrance fee or table booking and pledges by the various guests

Assistance with Meal Allowance top ups
The mentioned goal has its aims in mitigating hunger of University of Pretoria students. The goal is a target because of the depletion of meal allowances by the beginning of the second semester leaving students hungry and without other options
The office of the Study Finance aims to set aside a portion of its budget, to ensure by the second semester there is financial assistance towards food funding with regards to meal allowances. The office of study finance will however

Revaluate Residence of the Year Award Criteria
Residence of the year was once considered a prestigious award. The focus for residence of the year has shifted in the past years. Lack of knowledge and misconceptions regarding this award have lead residents to not take it seriously. We would like to revisit the criteria for residence of the year.
Residence of the year
It should be based on the academic performance of the residence and the fundraising conducted by the residence. Food supply has become a crises at TuksRes and it will lessen the financial burden on the University if residences tried to collect food throughout the year that can be provided to students in need at the end of the year
