ADULTING 101 EVENT In partnership with several departments on campus, and due to the financial support of CashCourse,

Pathways was able to host a financial literacy event on

campus entitled, Adulting101. Students learned about repaying

loans, eating healthy on a budget, dressing for

success, and making good financial decisions NOW for the future. The event was a

huge success, and even drew the attention of a local

news channel!

TRiO End of Year Celebration Honors 38 graduates!

Students in the TRiO Pathways for

Success program were honored at a

celebration on May 6, 2019, for their

academic accomplishments. All

students were invited. Graduates, as

well as those obtaining Dean’s List

status, were recognized in front of their

peers for their accomplishments.

Jennifer Riley, Student Access Award

Winner, shared her story of how TRiO

has changed her life for the better.

Jennifer recognized the program as a

constant encouragement and a huge

reason for her success here at ACM.

As a nontraditional student, Jenn credits

the program for giving her a home and a

sense of belonging which gave her the

confidence to be admitted into the

Nursing program.

Pathways for Success students visited Frostburg State University in April as a possible transfer school. They were able to tour the campus, meet with a transfer advisor, and visit the TRIO/SSS Office at Frostburg State University.
