Visiting Team Practice

Our Stadium and three practice fields are located on the southeast side of the

stadium and are options for practices on Fridays. Please contact Tanner Stines at 706-

247-9098 for practice time availability.

Equipment Truck Parking

Visiting Team Equipment Trucks may be parked and unloaded in the southeast

corner of the stadium next to the Visitors Locker Room.

DELAYED GAME DUE TO LIGHTNING� �Prior to Kickoff�

When lightning is detected within eight �8� miles of competition site,

the McNeese Game Management Staff shall immediately delay the

start of the competition, with both teams returning to their locker

rooms. 30�00 minutes will be put up on the scoreboard after last

detected lightning strike. The competition may be resumed after 30

minutes of no detected lightning strikes within an eight-mile radius

of the site. Following this 30-minute delay, there may be a 10-minute

warm-up period if mutually agreed upon by both coaches.

SUSPENDED GAME DUE TO LIGHTNING�

�After game has officially started�

When lightning is detected within eight �8� miles of competition site,

the head referee shall suspend the competition with both teams

returning to their locker rooms. The competition may be resumed

after 30 minutes of no detected lightning strikes. 30�00 minutes will

be put up on the scoreboard after last detected lightning strike.

Following this 30-minute delay, there may be a 10-minute warm-up

period if mutually agreed upon by both coaches.

6.02.05.01 Warm-up. By agreement of the involved coaches, the playing eld shall be cleared early enough for visiting teams to take normal workouts prior to the start of the game. Teams shall be allowed to warm-up in the area in front of their bench from the 35-yard line to the goal line until thirty- ve (35) minutes prior to kickoff. From thirty- ve (35) minutes prior to kickoff until the start of the contest, teams shall be limited to warm-up in the area from the 50-yard line to the goal line. [8/02]
