Eleventh Annual St. Lazarus Mass and Dinner 

  

March 22, 2016  

On March 22, 2016, Knights and Dames of  the  American  Delegation  of  Savoy Orders of the Royal House of Savoy and their guests participated in the eleventh annual St. Lazarus Mass at Our Lady of Pompeii  Church  in  Greenwich  Village, New  York  City.  HRH  Prince  Dimitri  of Yugoslavia,  the  nephew  of  the  Grand Master HRH Prince Victor Emmanuel of Savoy,  joined  the American Delegation for the mass and the dinner.  Rev. Fr. Walter Tonelotto, C.S., Pastor of Our Lady of Pompeii Church, hosted the Mass at his parish church. The principal celebrant  was  Cav.  Rev.  Msgr. Christopher Hynes. Concelebrants were Cav.  Msgr.  Joseph  Ambrosio  and  Uff. Rev. Michael  Lankford‐Stokes and Cav. Rev.  Vincent  McNamara,  assisted  by seminarians  Joseph  Lucia,  Devotee  of Merit, and Damian Zablocki.   The First Reading was delivered by Dama Camille Kelleher  and  the  Gospel  Reading  was delivered by Uff. Deacon Thomas Rich. HRH  Prince  Dimitri  of  Yugoslavia  and Dama  di  Comm.  Larissa  Van  Duser brought  forward  the  Offertory  Gifts. The Homily was given by Cav. Rev. Msgr. McNamara.    Post‐Communion  Prayer was  given  by  Cav.  Msgr.  Christopher Hynes  and  the  Prayer  of  the  Savoy Orders was delivered by  the Delegate, Cav.  Gr.  Cr.  Avv.  Carl  J. Morelli.  Vice Delegate Comm. L’On. Pasquale Menna served  as  the  Master  of  Ceremonies. The Mass was  followed  by  a  convivial dinner  nearby  at  Da  Silvano Restaurant.
