This two-night session is designed to give our youngest campers an opportunity to experience camp at a level that is just right for where they are physically and emo-tionally. Experience a true summer camp with a week at Timber-lee! This is the real deal full of climbing, ziplin-ing, horses, animals, beaches, and impacted lives! with a cabin group of five to eight campers, your week begins on Sunday and ends on the following Saturday (#103 ends friday). Our college-age counselors com-plete an intense staff training program and know how to care for kids’ safety while having tons of fun. Twice a day chapel features our very own Arbor.Vitae to lead worship and age appropriate speaker.

level 1: horsemanshipThis camp is geared towards beginner riders who would love to learn more about horses. Campers will spend two hours a day at the Ranch. They will ride their horses in a western saddle in the arena and learn about horse care, safety, and more! Campers will also get to hit the trails at the end of the week. Returning campers who have learned the appro-priate skills will have the opportunity to advance each year within the program.

level 2: horse trainers Campers who are beginner riders or are at the intermediate level will enjoy this camp. If spending three hours a day around horses sounds fun, then this is the camp for you! Campers returning to or entering into the Horse Trainers program have the chance to advance within the levels taught each year by mastering the appropriate skills.

level 3: horse wranglers This camp is for all horse lovers! Campers will enjoy brushing and saddling their horses before riding their horses each afternoon. After the horses are saddled up, they will experience a western riding lesson each day, vaulting, learning about horses, a trail ride, and more! During their week, the wranglers will have an opportunity to ride their horses to our base camp and spend one of their nights camping out. Riders of any level will find something to enjoy during this week!

SUPPOrtinG SchOOl cUrricUlUm Experience our 600-acre outdoor class-room! for schools, our Outdoor Education (OE) learning experiences include the Science Education Center, Timber Challenge, and Saddle Horn Ranch.

These OE programs are a method for supporting existing curriculum and state standards. You can experience interactive displays, live animal rooms, and class-rooms with trained teachers ready to guide your student’s outdoor experience.
