FIGGJO COLLABORATES WITH KARL ERIK PALLESEN

Karl Erik Pallesen is the part owner and General Manager of Fisketorget in Stavanger, and is one of the country’s leading chefs. He has made his mark in many areas, and participated in Kokkenes Kamp (Battle of the Chefs) on TV2 in 2013 and won Hellstrøm’s Masterchef on TV3 in 2012.

Karl Erik worked as a chef at the Gastronomic Institute for three years, and has been a member of the Norwegian National Culinary Team. As a member of the Norwegian National Culinary Team he won the silver medal at the 2013 Culinary Olympics in Luxembourg, and was a commis when the team won gold at the World Championships in 2007.

Pallesen has now tested the spring news 2015, and has been inspired to create appetising new dishes by Figgjo’s new products!

FIGGJO BREM

Figgjo Brem consists of three elegant, deep plates with a strong character. The flat base gives chefs the opportunity to create sophisticated presen-tations, with the angled edge acting as an airy frame around the food.A small, elegant dish will look attractively placed on the limited surface, while the depth provides adequate space for larger dishes. Figgjo Brem is available in sizes 20, 24 and 27 cm.

The clean style of the Figgjo Brem deep plates makes them particularly suitable in combination with Figgjo Front Dining, Figgjo Grad and Figgjo Ting.

FIGGJO BASE

Figgjo Base has become an extremely popular series, and a new plate with handle which measures 28 x 18 cm is now being launched. This exciting plate builds upon the soft and informal style of the Figgjo Base series. The plate is excellent for simple lunch dishes, as well as starters or side dishes. The Figgjo Base plate with handle is functional, stacks effectively and is large enough to hold a reasonably large meal. In addition to white, the plate is also available in Figgjo Skygge and Figgjo Dryss standard dec-orations.

FIGGJO STACKING BOWL

The Figgjo Stacking bowl series is be-ing expanded with a new size, and now consists of 12 bowls. The new bowl holds 80 cl, stacks well and is suitable for both buffets and single dishes.

The bowl is well-suited for use in institutions since it is adapted to standardised food transport system.

FIGGJO BOWL AND COMBINATION PLATE

A new square plate with a soft look, which is well-suited to both lunch and side dishes and provides a good alternative to a round plate. The plate has a surface that offers many uses, stacks easily and measures 20 x 20 cm. Our new bowl and plate is well suited for a standard serving tray.

The bowl holds 45 cl and with its compact size it is a natural choice for a small portion of soup or exquisite dessert.
