As Mayor of Halifax Regional Municipality and on behalf of Regional Council, I am delighted to extend warm greetings and a special welcome to all attending the Auditing Association of Canada’s (AAC) Annual Conference taking place September 16-18, 2015. Our historic port city has been entertaining guests for over 260 years and we take pride in our reputation as one of the world’s most hospitable and welcoming destinations. During your stay, I hope you take time to explore some of the rich history, culture, and natural beauty our region has to offer.

I want to acknowledge, with gratitude, the AAC organizing team for their hard work in planning and hosting this year’s Conference here in our region. I wish you much success and trust your visit will be a truly memorable experience.
