Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year I hoped you enjoyed your summer vacation. As we enter
another school year I would like to take a few moments to introduce myself.
My name is Kassoum Coulibaly, and I will be your child's teacher this year. This is my fifth year
teaching at BIA and it has been a wonderful experience. I have not only been a teacher but I
have learned from my students as well.
My educational background includes, a Masters in linguistics (French Literature), a Maryland
educator certificate 7-12 with endorsement in elementary education, and a District of Columbia
educator certificate k-12.
Although this is my first time working with your child as their homeroom teacher, I have had
the pleasure of collaborating with them last school year through French Club activities
coordinated by myself and Madame Sindjui, their former teacher.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child and working directly with them in
the classroom.
Let’s us work together to make this school year successful
If you ever have any concern I can be reached at 410-426-3650 or by email at
Sincerely,
Mr Coulibaly
