2013 – 2014 Program RegistrationRegistration for Religious Education classes is now being accepted. Children who are in grades 1through 8 and attending non-Catholic schools, whosefamilies are Registered Parishioners, are encouragedto register for the classes. Registration forms areavailable through the parish office. The program islargely volunteer  – run, therefore parents are expectedto assist in some way.

During this Year of Faith, the Shrine has beendesignated by His Eminence Thomas CardinalCollins as a sacred place for obtaining the plenaryindulgence, applicable to the faithful according to theusual conditions: confession, communion, pray for the intention of the Holy Father, profession of faith(Creed). Thank you to all parishioners who visited the parishhall after last weekend’s Masses to review the proposed drawings in greater detail and to speak tocommittee members. Your questions and commentsare a vital part of the process. The four drawings can be viewed on the parish website or you can requestcopies from the parish office.

We continue to welcome your feedback. Have we 

addressed your concerns wi th the changes we have 

presented? You can provide your comments throughthe parish website (www.sorrows.ca), by email(dolores@sorrows.ca) or phone (416-231-6016 x 29).

 No significant change to the original project costingis expected with this revision. Following finalapproval of the design, detailed constructiondrawings will need to be created and the project putout to tender, before final costing is determined.Updated costing, including a final goal for theArchdiocesan Campaign will be available before theCapital Campaign begins.

During the past few years, as the parish committeeshave worked diligently to prepare for this project,there have been a number of parishioners who haveindicated that they would like more informationregarding specific aspects of the Fire & Life Safetyrenovations.
