Dear Colleague:We look forward to seeing you at the 3rd Skin of Color Symposium to be held at the breathtaking Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel in the Baltimore Harbor in Maryland, October 25-27, 2013. We invite you to join us and discover just how unique this meeting is, providing material that is exciting and new in a collegial and collaborative environment.

This year’s meeting will include a roster of outstanding national speakers addressing cutaneous disease of skin of color on topics including disorders of pigmentation, infl ammatory skin diseases, health disparities, aging, alopecia, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, keloids and wound healing. The latest breakthroughs, current state of research and clinical challenges will be addressed. New to this year’s program will be a live patient viewing and discussion.

Don’t miss this chance to learn more about advances and opportunities in the fi eld and create a dialogue with colleagues who are addressing these challenges in the lab, the clinic and in the marketplace. Be an integral and active part of the community that seeks to advance the state of knowledge, diagnosis and treatment of those cutaneous conditions that uniquely affect the growing skin of color population. Only by working together can we ensure that the emerging fi eld receives the attention it deserves.

Make your reservations now for October 2013. We hope to see you in Baltimore, MD this fall for what promises to be a dynamic and productive meeting.

Sincerely,

Valerie M. Harvey, MD, MPHCo-Director
