There are four types of H.O.G.® membership. Full or Full Life members must own a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. Associate memberships are designed for the passenger or family member of a Full or Full Life member.

FULL MEMBERSHIP: Entitles the member to all the benefits and services of the Harley Owners Group®.

FULL LIFE MEMBERSHIP: Entitles the member to all the benefits of a Full member, plus a special Life member patch and pin.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: Entitles the member to a number of benefits. Every Associate member must have an active sponsoring Full member.

ASSOCIATE LIFE MEMBERSHIP: Entitles the member to all the benefits of an Associate member, plus a special Life member patch and pin. Every Associate member must have a sponsoring Full Life member.

A one-year full membership is automaticallyissued to the purchaser of a new,unregistered or ex-demo Harley-Davidson®

motorcycle. An automatic membership isgenerated to the individual whose name first appears on the title.

If you are a current H.O.G. member at the time of a new, unregistered Harley-Davidsonmotorcycle purchase or have been within the past two years, please provide yourmembership number at the time of sale toreceive an automatic one-year extension. Members can renew by mail, by phone or online at members.hog.com ‘My Membership’. Before yourH.O.G. membership expires, you will be invited torenew. When you do so, you will continue to be eligiblefor all benefits, programmes and services, plus you willreceive a specially designed renewal patch and pin, aswell as an updated Touring Handbook (Full and Full Lifemembers) and Benefits Guide. Please allow four to sixweeks for delivery. To receive your renewal packagesooner, renew before your membership expires.

AUTO RENEWAL To ensure that you do not miss out on all the greatbenefits H.O.G. has to offer, if you are paying by creditcard or debit card* renewing your H.O.G. membershipcouldn’t be easier!

Pins, patches, and motorcycle medallions are awarded to H.O.G.® members for ridingtheir Harley-Davidson® motorcycles; awardsbegin at just 1,000 miles, with additionalawards earned at 5,000 and 10,000 miles and beyond.

Additional enrolment forms are available on the members-only website atmembers.hog.com or by contacting the H.O.G. Customer Care Centre.

OFFICIAL GUIDELINES:1. YOU must enrol EACH motorcycle in

the programme prior to accumulatingmiles/kilometres. Mileage accumulated prior to enrolment is not eligible forconsideration.

2. Participation is offered exclusively to activeH.O.G. members (Full and Associate).

3. Members may enrol in the H.O.G. MileageProgramme by completing an enrolment form.Vehicle identification number and currentmileage must be indicated on the form at timeof enrolment, and all enrolment forms must beendorsed by an authorised Harley-Davidsondealer. Members should send their forms to:Harley Owners Group® – Customer CareCentre, Globe House, 1 Chertsey Road,Twickenham TW1 1LR, UK.

4. An additional H.O.G. Mileage Programmeform must be submitted when a vehicle issold/traded, indicating the ending mileagereading for the old vehicle along with thevehicle identification number and startingmileage of the new vehicle.

5. For each mileage level, a separate H.O.G.Mileage Programme form must be completed,endorsed by an authorised Harley-Davidsondealer and submitted to the H.O.G. CustomerCare Centre.

6. Passengers are also welcome toparticipate in the H.O.G. MileageProgramme. The passenger must also bean active H.O.G. member, and enrolment is to be documented on the same form as his or her sponsoring rider.

7. Those listed as a ‘passenger’ on a form, but who are also ‘riders’, may submit aseparate enrolment form if they would like to accumulate miles as a ‘rider’. However,

mileage accumulated on one vehicle cannotbe shared with another rider (ie. the samemileage cannot be reported twice for two rider awards).

8. Harley-Davidson Authorized Tours &Rentals miles may be credited to your file by submitting a copy of the contract,which indicates mileage accumulated.

9. Each Mileage Programme form mustdocument odometer readings and appropriatevehicle identification numbers for all vehiclesused to accumulate required mileage for thatparticular mileage level. Kilometres should beindicated for those motorcycles using akilometre odometer.

10. All submissions must be endorsed by anauthorised H-D® dealer.

11. A H.O.G. Mileage Programme pin and patchwill be sent to all H.O.G. members uponenrolment in the programme. After enrolment,additional awards can be earned byachievement of the mileage levels listed below.

NOTE: After 300,000 miles, the award levelswill remain at 50,000-mile increments.

To convert kilometres to miles, divide kilometresby 1.61. For example, 40,250 kilometres ÷ 1.61= 25,000 miles.

Active members who successfully completean accredited motorcycle safety rider trainingcourse during the 2013 calendar year willreceive a pin and patch featuring the SafeRider Skills logo.

OFFICIAL GUIDELINES:1. You must be a current H.O.G. member

on the date the course began.2. You must send the proper proof of the

completion date of the safety course youtook within three months of completing the course.

3. Limited to recognition for one safety courseper member annually.

4. Pin and patch can be obtained bysubmitting a completed form with a copy of the safety course certificate indicating

successful completion of the course. Forms may be obtained by calling H.O.G.Customer Care Centre (see telephone andaddress directory) or can be downloadedfrom members.hog.com.

5. After a minimum of 12 members from onechapter pass an accredited rider trainingcourse and have submitted their individualcertificates to H.O.G., a laser-engravedSafe Rider Skills Chapter Plaque will be sent to the sponsoring dealer.

In 2012 Million Mile Monday was expanded to start on Sunday, growing into the two-dayHarley-Davidson World Ride. H.O.G. invited allHarley-Davidson riders to participate to get ataste for the fun and camaraderie of being amember of the worldwide Official Riding Clubof Harley-Davidson. Riders from more than 66countries participated and collectively rode

H.O.G.® ASSISTANCE

FIND THE H.O.G.® ASSISTANCEAPPLICATION FORM IN THECENTRE SECTION

If you are concerned about being left stranded, then H.O.G. Assistance may be just what you need.

H.O.G. Assistance is a roadside rescue and recovery facility, providing you with a 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year backup.

H.O.G. Assistance can respond in the casesof breakdown, tyre puncture, lack of fuel andeven loss of keys. In these cases, H.O.G.Assistance will arrange for your rescue asquickly as they possibly can.

Your motorcycle can be recovered and thentaken to the nearest official Harley-Davidsondealer for repairs to be carried out. In cases of lack of fuel, a simple roadside fill-up can be arranged (charges apply for fuel costs).

If the dealer is not open for business, themotorcycle can be taken into secure storageand then delivered to the dealer on the nextworking day.

Where appropriate, overnight hotelaccommodation can be agreed and refundedby H.O.G. Assistance, or alternate transportto your destination, dependent on yourcircumstances. Rescues and accommodationapply to both rider and pillion.

Transport costs are met, in respect of thejourney back to the dealer to collect the

vehicle once repairs have been made. Pleasenote that H.O.G. Assistance does not pay forthe cost of repairs to your motorcycle.

H.O.G. Assistance does not restrict either the number or duration of trips or foreigntours, and there is no vehicle age restrictionapplicable.

The service is provided free for one year topurchasers of brand-new Harley-Davidson®

motorcycles. H.O.G. Assistance is alsoavailable for further 12-month periodsexclusively to H.O.G. members, subject to an additional cost.

1. Entries must be from a current H.O.G.®

member and must be for one person only. Ifa Full and an Associate member both wishto enter, each must submit separate entries.

2. Entries must include at least 26 photos withALL of the following elements in EACH photo.• Your Harley-Davidson® motorcycle.• An issue of HOG® magazine 2013.• You – in at least 10 photos.• An ‘official sign’.• Entries must include a list of eachcity/town, county, municipality, state,province, country or event. Photos in front of H-D® dealers must have the name of the city/village/town written on the back of the photo.• The English translations of location namesin alphabets other than Latin, such asArabic, Cyrillic or Greek, will also beaccepted. Eg: Θεσσαλονίκη will beaccepted under T for Thessaloniki,will be accepted under J for Jeddah.

3. An ‘official sign’ is:• A sign posted by a government body,which lies within the boundaries of the placeit identifies (mileage/kilometre markers ordirectional signs are not allowed)• Government buildings with the name ofthe city/village/town or state on them suchas post offices, police stations, etc.

4. An authorised Harley-Davidson dealership must include a receipt, business card orcompliment slip from the dealership.

5. The name of the city/village/town, county,municipality, state, country etc. must appearlegibly on the ‘official sign’ in the photo toreceive points.

6. You must ride your Harley-Davidsonmotorcycle. Photos with motorcycles ontrailers are not eligible.

7. You may include entries featuring a Harley-Davidson motorcycle hired to you through Authorized Tours & Rentals.

8. Due to the distances travelled in Africa and India, H.O.G members may includeRecognised Game Reserves under theCountries section of the entry form.

9. Please attach a separate sheet whereentries exceed the available space providedon the official form. The additional sheetmust include your name and H.O.G. numberand be firmly attached to the official form.

10. Names of winners will be published in HOGmagazine. All photos submitted will becomethe property of Harley-Davidson MotorCompany and may be used in HOGmagazine or online.

3. This policy provides you with access to 24-hour emergency helpline for thefollowing insured products: Harley-Davidson motorcycle breakdown

4. Significant features and benefits If your vehicle is immobilised following an incident H.O.G. Assistance willorganise AND pay for:a) Recovery The recovery of your vehicle to the nearest official Harley-Davidson authorised dealer.b) Completion of journey In the event that your vehicle will be immobilised formore than 24 hours, we will organise and pay for your journey home or to yourimmediate destination. For full terms and conditions on the above please referto your H.O.G. Assistance policy wording sections 1 and 2.

5. Significant or unusual exclusions or limitations• The vehicle shall at all times be maintained in a good mechanical androadworthy condition and be regularly serviced in accordance withmanufacturer’s warranty instructions, including the battery, which must be kept charged.

• No benefit shall be payable unless H.O.G. Assistance has been notified andhas authorised assistance.• You are responsible for the safety of the vehicle and its contents and mustbe in attendance at the vehicle at the time of arrival of assistance. Please referto H.O.G. Assistance Policy wording for full list of exclusions.

7. This contract is valid for one year and is renewable.

8. Cancellation period: If you wish to cancel this cover, you have 14 days fromthe time you receive the policy documentation to cancel the contract bycontacting H.O.G. Assistance at Suite 4, Park Mews, Hornchurch, 15b ParkLane, Essex, RM11 1BB.

9. Claim notification: To obtain emergency assistance in the UK, contact the 24-hour emergency helpline on: 01737 815179 (when dialling within the UK),+44 1737 815179 (when dialling from outside the UK).

10. Making yourself heard: If you have a complaint, you can write to the QualityManager, who will arrange an investigation on behalf of the General Manager,at: Inter Partner Assistance, The Quadrangle, 106-118 Station Road, Redhill,Surrey RH1 1PR or telephone 01737 815148. If it is impossible to reach anagreement you have the right to make an appeal to the Financial OmbudsmanService, South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, Docklands, London E14 9SR ortelephone 0845 080 1800. 11. Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS): Inter Partner Assistance is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). TheFSCS is a safety net for customers of financial services firms should the firmnot be able to meet its liabilities. Further information can be obtained atwww.fscs.org.uk.

H.O.G.® Assistance can respond in the cases of breakdown, tyre puncture, lack of fuel and even loss of keys. In thesecases, H.O.G. Assistance will arrange for your rescue as quickly as they possibly can.

Your motorcycle can be recovered and then taken to the nearest official Harley-Davidson® dealer for repairs to be carriedout. In cases of lack of fuel, a simple roadside fill-up can be arranged (charges apply for fuel costs). If the dealer is not openfor business, the motorcycle can be taken into secure storage and then delivered to the dealer on the next working day.

Where appropriate, overnight hotel accommodation can be agreed and refunded by H.O.G. Assistance, or alternatetransport to your destination, dependent on your circumstances. Rescues and accommodation apply to both rider and pillion.

Transport costs are met, in respect of the journey back to the dealer to collect the vehicle once repairs have been made.Please note that H.O.G. Assistance does not pay for the cost of repairs to your motorcycle. H.O.G. Assistance does notrestrict either the number or duration of trips or foreign tours, and there is no vehicle age restriction applicable.

The service is provided free for one year to purchasers of brand-new Harley-Davidson motorcycles. H.O.G. Assistanceis also available for further 12-month periods exclusively to H.O.G. members, subject to an additional cost.
