areas covered will include:

• Benchmarking performance of individual client herds to identify their

strengths and weaknesses.

Description

this year we are introducing ‘the academy’ which is facilitated by the

business consulting team from Pfizer VetSupport+. the aim is to develop the

skills and knowledge of practice owners and those in practice management

in the key areas of practice business – strategy; finance and operations; staff

management; client satisfaction; and marketing.

the academy is designed to enable participants to take their learning and

apply it to their own practice to achieve sustainable and lasting results.

Key principles that facilitate applicable learning mean this is done within a

supportive and like-minded group.

the academy will run for two years with one day workshops being held every

two months. the workshops will follow a set curriculum for the first half

of the year to allow individuals to establish a foundation in the core areas

before taking a more learner-led approach where the academy will develop

the needs of the group

The underpinning objectives include:

• Provision of a structured business mentoring group over 24 months

(1 day every 8 weeks with interim mentoring* as an option).

• Designed for practice owners / senior management.

• Hands on learning covering key business drivers.

• Modular approach with call to action.

• opportunity to share experiences and key learnings with colleagues in

the group.

• Development of what ‘best practice’ looks like and how to apply.

Package provision and cost

• 24 months membership £2900 Plus Vat per delegate. Vetswest members

have a 25% disc.

• £240 plus Vat per module.

• 24 months membership £3850 plus Vat non-Vetwest practice.
