MAKING SAFER COMMUNITIES

Since 1866 the Williamsport YMCA hasserved the needs of our community. In

1922 funds were raised to build the building

on 4th st. Now after eight additions we

have 210,000 sqft and over 70,000 sqft of

unusable space (halls, stairwells and

duplicated spaces). With a new more

efficient facility we will be able to serve

more needs of our community. Resources

we currently put into our old inefficientbuilding will be used for programs that meet

community need, like at risk teen programs,

diabetes prevention, cancer survivor, stage

3 cardiac rehab and many more. We need

your help to create a new YMCA facility that

will ensure the Y’s sustainability and

empower it to better serve our community.

The New 60,000 sqft facility will be located just south of the new Susquehanna HealthSystem Tower of Hope. The new facility will include:-  Bright, safe and accessible classrooms

for infant through preschool-  Large open wellness area with natural

light, racquetball courts & childwatch-  Teen / senior center-  A new pool will include a zero depth

entry ramp to ensure accessibility-  The gymnasium will be suitable for many

sports and will include a walking track-  Men, Women and Family locker rooms-  Community lounge area

With a fundraising goal of $5 million we

need your help. Please contact Dave or

Chad at the Y to give your support. For
