WE CAN BRING THE THEATER TO YOU!Civil Rights Legacy Tour: Becoming BridgesTravel back in America’s past to complete a major Social Studies assignment and search for civil rights and justice ideas from some of our country’s greatest leaders - Abraham Lincoln, Langston Hughes, Ruby Bridges, Dr. King and more!

K-5th and 6th-12th grade versions available!Tour Dates: January 13 - February 7, 2014 Single Tour Assembly: $975Two Assemblies at one School: $1,200

Partnering Schools Assembly: $750 each - Partner with another school to host one assembly at each school scheduled on the same day.

The Broadway Center Bus Fund can reimburse up to $100 of your travel to attend the theater for the school-time matinee.

To Qualify:• Bring 75+ students and adults to the show• School must have free and reduced lunch rate of

25%+

How to Apply:Email requests to [email protected] with the subject: Bus Fund Request. Include your school’s name, and contact information, the Education Matinee you are attending, the number of tickets purchased, and your school’s free and reduced lunch rate. Bus Fund Requests will be reviewed in the order received and are subject to fund availability.

Set in Pittsburgh in 1911, this story evolves during the Great Migration of the early twentieth century, when descendants of former slaves moved from the South to the North in search of new jobs, new lives and new beginnings. This play is richly detailed, joyous, sad and always hopeful.
