IIDANORTHERN PACIFIC CHAPTERPARTNERSHIP PACKAGE
2013
2012 was a turning point for our Chapter. With the improving economy and projections for more robust growth, the outlook for our industry has definitely started to rebound. Like the economy our chapter’s events saw greater attendance and more energy than in the past few years. The INawards were held “in the round” at the ACT Theater. In order to increase their exposure to the design community, Chapter Partners acted as hosts to announce the award categories. This year we plan to go even further to include partners in all the awards.
The Seattle Design Festival, held in cooperation with the AIA and other allied professional organizations allows us to showcase the profession to the public and gain further recognition for the valuable contribution our industry makes to people’s lives. For 2013 we plan to build on that success with tours of award winning projects and other activities.
Leaders Breakfast, in its third year again recognized local leaders, like Dave Kutsunai, Martha Clarkson and Frank Ching along with providing great networking opportunities and inspirational talks. Like the INawards, the event drew more than 250 people and looks to be even better this year.
2013 is planned to be another outstanding year for the chapter. With the improving economy, projections for growth, and plans for exciting and informative events, the Chapters mantra Recharge, Re-ignite and Re-engage is a fitting description for what we have planned for the year. Our continued success has come from the dedicated effort of many individuals who believe that IIDA is the best way to move both the profession and their careers forward. This is truly evident from the broad support we rely on from members as well as consistent participation from our industry partners. Without you, much of our success would simply not be possible.
In addition to Chapter Events, we are planning to participate in the first ever West Coast Design Competition. Conceived as a way of further raising awareness of Interior Design, the competition will begin locally with students competing for the opportunity to go to Los Angeles next spring and compete in a charette format against teams from other west Coast chapters including Portland, Northern California, and Southern California. The winner will be recognized at Cool, the IIDA design celebration held in Chicago at NEOCON.
Forums, CEU Events as well as City Center and Campus Center Events all represent additional opportunities for visibility and participation in the further success of our chapter.
Your Partnership also advances the profession by contributing to the legislative effort so important to our future. We work side by side with other professional organizations and IDCW.
This year, for the first time we have developed a complete calendar for the year along with a tool that allows partners to select opportunities from a broad range of choices and assemble a complete partnership package that includes event, tickets, in-kind sponsorship and other options.
We are proud to offer the 2013 Partnership package. Please take a moment to review the many opportunities and benefits available. We sincerely appreciate your support whether for the first time or on a continuing benefactor basis and are available to respond to any questions you may have.
Best wishes for success this coming year!

association with a united mission that would represent interior
designers worldwide and speak on their behalf with a single voice.

The purchase of Event Partnerships contributes toward attaining your initial Chapter Partnership or increasing your Chapter Partnership level. For example, committing to Event Partnerships equaling $1,500.00 entitles you to a Silver Level Chapter Partnership. Similarly, committing to $1,500.00 of event partnerships in addition to a $1,500.00 Silver Level Chapter Partnership raises you to a Gold Level Partnership. A new Chapter Partnership or the increase of a Partnership level is effective for the 12 months following your initial purchase.
