i-AWDAutoconstantly monitors traction in changing conditions. When the

i-AWDsystem detects slippage in the front wheels, torque immediately

shifts to the rear wheels for all-wheel traction and increased stability.

i-AWDLock gives 50/50 front and rear torque distribution

for best traction in snow and mud. Full i-AWDLock traction is

maintained until the vehicle reaches cruising speed (36 mph),

and then i t automatically switches over to i-AWDAuto.
