hoisting mechanism. Inspect crane daily for defective parts and record date and malfunction in a

log. Read and interpret the load charts to determine the safe operating capacity. Direct the set up and dismantling of the crane Must also be able to drive pile.

May assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out sequence of activities for the road building crews and finishing operations.

Maintains all records required concerning production, safety, attendance, time worked by crew members, personnel matters, etc.

Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while maintain the company’s reputation for quality workmanship/product.

Responsible for the safety of those on the crew and will conduct all operation according to all applicable company and government safety rules. Will develop and maintain a proper crew attitude by conducting weekly Planning Meetings and displaying a positive safety attitude toward all daily operation performed.

Responsible for monitoring compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all Company policies; may issue disciplinary action to employees when infractions of such policies occur – with overall review/approval of project superintendent and/or company’s Sr. Vice President of Human Resources.

Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; must be able to work at heights up to 160 feet; also MUST be able to travel in the Mid-Atlantic area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Laying out work off of blue prints Setting up welding machine to assure correct heat level for the type of

welding rod to be used for the current task Measuring and marking pile Using burning torch to cut pile Using tools to dig, pry, hammer and shovel Working with crew when no welding work is available Climb piling leads up to 160’ to position pile in the leads Use burning torch to cut pile Use tools to dig, pry, hammer and shovel Carry, load, unload and stack material Climb embankments and ladders to get to work area Hook and rig material and equipment for movement by crane Measure and mark pile with tape Cut concrete pile using concrete saw.  Cut timber pile with chain saw Record statistical data for load test and/or other related piling operations

Supervises, coordinates and directs pipe crew in the excavation and installation of pipe.

Knowledgeable and skilled in operation of road building equipment in order to direct and supervise operators in proper and safe operation and maintenance of equipment.

May assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out sequence of activities for the road building crews and finishing operations.

Maintains all records required concerning production, safety, attendance, time worked by crew members, personnel matters, etc.

Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while maintaining the company’s reputation for quality workmanship/product.

Responsible for the safety of those on the crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety rules. Will develop and maintain a proper crew attitude by conducting weekly Planning Meetings and displaying a positive safety attitude toward all daily operation performed.

Responsible for monitoring compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all Company policies; may issue disciplinary action to employees when infractions of such policies occur – with overall review/approval of project superintendent and/or company’s Vice President of Human Resources.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and superintendents to ensure that the project is built per plan

Develop work plans for the project to be completed safely and on time and implement the plans in the field

Responsible for building 3-week schedules, Onbase invoice coding, review timecards and enter time in Heavy Job

Order materials / tools required for the job, track quantities, run production reports and review with field crews

Will review and approve shop drawings, draft RFIs and assist with submittals Provides technical information to company supervisor and subcontractors to

ensure work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions

Reviews, analyzes and resolves field construction problems, discrepancies or interference with subcontractors.

Provides interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for subcontractors or craft supervision
