Kearney, 93, of St. Peters- burg, Florida, passed away Monday, October 6, 1997, in St. Petersburg. Mr. Kearney was born September 15,1904, in England. He was a resident of Eagle Lake from 1931-1949. Mr. Kearney retired in 1969 from Sante Fe Railroad as a master me- chanic. He was a resident of Galveston until 1984 when he moved to St. Pe- tersburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ottillia Kearney. His survivors include his daugh- ter, Mary K. Yennie of St. Petersburg; his sisters, Kate Benson and Elizabeth Kearney of Galveston; a brother Mike Kearney of Waco; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sympathy is extended to the fam- ily in their loss. OBITUARY John W. Kearney September 15,1904 - October 6,1997

John W. Kearney, 93, of St. Peters- burg, Florida, passed away Monday, October 6, 1997, in St. Petersburg.

Mr. Kearney was born September 15,1904, in England.

He was a resident of Eagle Lake from 1931-1949.

Mr. Kearney retired in 1969 from Sante Fe Railroad as a master me- chanic. He was a resident of Galveston until 1984 when he moved to St. Pe-

tersburg. He was preceded in death by his

wife, Ottillia Kearney. His survivors include his daugh-

ter, Mary K. Yennie of St. Petersburg; his sisters, Kate Benson and Elizabeth Kearney of Galveston; a brother Mike Kearney of Waco; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Sympathy is extended to the fam- ily in their loss.
