There are few merchants doing any considerablebusiness who do not employ a cashier, and there is nomerchant who employs a cashier who can afford to bewithout good and efficient Cash Carriers. Is it not dur-ing the busiest periods that communication between thesalesmen and the cash office have to be made mostfrequently? Is it not during these periods that the sales-men's time is most valuable ? Surely any reasonableperson will admit this. Not only do the Carriers enablethe salesmen to more rapidly serve customers, but theypermit them to remain with .customers until sales areperfected. They avoid crowding and confusion in astore ; may be used simultaneously from different points,and savj miles of steps on a busy day. They are muchcheaper and quicker than cash boys, and are always athand to do their work.

It is about eight years since we began putting out ou-Paragon Carrier, and we now have the gratification ofknowing that our machines, wherever used, have givenexcellent service. Some improvements have been addedas time and use have suggested, and we fearlessly statethat, for durability, smoothness of working, surenessand general efficiency, our Carrier has no equal. Thisstatement can be substantiated by those who have usedother Carriers and have finally abandoned them for ours.Our machine is compact, has few parts, and is thereforesimple in construction. It is fully nickel plated uponsolid brass, and handsomely polished, so that it cannotrust or discolor. The Carrier is reversible, and the carmay be sent and returned by the operator at one end, orboth, as will be understood from cut. We inviteinspection. Send us a pencil sketch showing plan ofyour store with stations located at salesmen's end andposition of cash office, and we will forward J^ullparticulars.
