Rococo & Late Baroque
Rococo was most
popular in Europe
during the 18th and
19th Centuries. The
music was mostly
performed in front of
the Kings of
European Countries.
Art was created in
2D and 3D.
Buildings were built
in the form of
Rococo. One of the
last buildings built in
Rococo style was the
Queluz National
Palace in Lisbon.

Romanticism
Romanticism
inspired many
thinkers, art, and
music. Beethoven
and Mozart
composed music to
fit the Romantic
Period. In 1842,
Thomas Cole
composed the
Voyage of Life, a 4-
piece collection of a
mans life. They are
excellent examples
of Romantic Art.
Romantic Art was
mostly 2D pieces.

Classicism
Classicism was a big
turning point in the
art world.
Architecture took off
during the Classical
Period. Many
European countries
built structures
around Classicism.
Doors, columns,
frames, and even
roofs were built in
Classical style.
Clothing, music,
architecture, and art
were influenced by
the Classical Period.

Neoclassicism
Neoclassicism is
still in style.
Hundreds of
buildings were
built around the
neoclassical style.
The Empire State
Building, Burj
Khalifa, and the
London Eye are
examples of
Neoclassicism
architecture. In
the early 1900’s
2D art was also
popular.
