I’m extremely proud of our students for how well they have responded to this disrupted school year. The athletics day on Friday is a great way to finish the term. Best of luck to Gore and Fletcher houses. When we return next term we should see a brand new full-size multi-purpose court which I know the students will enjoy. Again, a big thanks to the P&C for contributing 50% of the cost. Many volunteer hours have gone into raising funds over the years and it’s great to see all the hard work pay off. Later in term 4 we should see also see the refurbishment commence on E block. I’m proud to oversee these additions to the school which will benefit all students. Mr Vidler finishes with us this week after a 10 week contract. Thanks for your work this term Mr Vidler. This term has seen fantastic transition days for prep and year 7 as well as SET planning and Pittsworth SHS enrolments for year 10 students. We will enter term 4 ready to finish the year strong and set ourselves up for a great 2021. Enjoy time with your children over the next couple of weeks and I’ll see them all back on Tuesday the 6th of October. 1/2E News

What a wonderful term it has been in Year 1/2E! It has beengreat to have a normal term back together again. All studentshave worked so hard all term to get their work done, and haveproduced some amazing work. In English this term we havebeen writing stories about monsters that we have created anddrawing pictures to go with it. We all definitely have done agreat job of using our imaginations! In maths, we learnt all abouttelling time and money, then most recently started to learnabout multiplication and division into groups. We had a lot offun sharing out counters to work out our sums. I hope everyonehas a safe and relaxing holiday! Can’t wait to be back togethernext term!

P&C Update

Term 3 is nearly to an end and what a wonderful term it hasbeen.

We have been fortunate enough that as a P&C with theamazing support from the School, that we have been able tohold our Father’s Day Stall. We really would not be able to havethese things without the amazing support of our volunteers (Youall know who you are and how much we deeply appreciate allthat you contribute).

It was so heart-warming to see the children come in and buysomething special for the men in their lives. These little thingsare so very important to the children and as was pointed out toone of the P&C members just the other day – it was somethingthat the students could get “excited” about – somethingNORMAL - especially with all the changes that we have all hadto endure this year.

A huge Shout-Out to Millmerran Foodworks – they invited usto their Market Day in September, and we had a brilliant daywith our wonderful Volunteers – not just Mum’s & Dad’s butStudents as well. It is so very Heart-Warming to see thestudents get involved and contributing to the Fundraising effortsthat get the funds straight back to them.

A Special mention to Sue Parker for coming along and sellingour Raffle Tickets. The Winner of our Father’s Day Hamper wasSharon Whitbread – Well Done Sharon and Thank You to allthat came along and brought a Sausage and a Raffle Ticket.
