Beginnings

Pound:Pound Conference held in the US in 1976. It was named in honour of

(Roscoe Pound,Dean of Harvard Law School 1920’s & 30’s. Key speaker Prof Frank Sander

Concept: attributed to conference was ‘multi door courthouse’

International Mediation Institute GPC Traditional delivery of dispute solutions under scrutiny ADR come of age ADR widely used set for further expansion
