In addition to our regular volunteer team, 815 people assisted with cleanup efforts over the course of the 2018-2019 season. SRDC is grateful to all of these volunteers who helped with a wide variety of tasks, including picking up litter, mulching and spreading gravel, planting, painting, and removing invasive plant species. We also hosted a new program - a series of free fishing events with the PA Fish & Boat Commission. In addition to the thousands who came out to participate in these events, thousands of people regularly use the Banks for recreation and commuting. BUILDING THE BANKS Work is underway on the Schuylkill Crossing at Grays Ferry, which will link the Grays Ferry Crescent to Bartram’s Mile.
