Wonderful Planet – Wonderful People

We live on a wonderful planet where there are wonderful people. Some of these people become heroes. “Heroes can be everyday people. They don’t have to have superpowers, nor save people when they are in trouble. They can just be people who stand up for what they believe. A hero is someone who doesn’t influence hate or violence, but who brings people together. A hero to me is someone who has the power to change the world.” (www.myhero.com/myhero/hero.asp?hero)

During class you hear, read and spoke about Planet / Environment Problems and Solutions. Now you are going to do some research reading on someone who could be considered an environmental hero. Link on to an Internet Research Engine (“Google”) and type “Environment Hero”. [Time Magazine as already published several articles on this topic -
