The practice was opened in 1982 by Braam Willems and traded as Willems & Partners

Initially operating from Lanseria Airport and specialising in aviation

Moved to present office in Weltevreden Park during 1997 Wessie van der Westhuizen joined as partner in 2000

which necessitated the name change to Willems & Van der Westhuizen

Acquired RP Tweer’s practice in December 2009 Francois du Plessis and Timothy le Roux joined as junior

partners during August 2010
