Michele A. Chester 2013ENGLISH GRAMMAR LESSONS

English Teacher To Go!Michele A. Chester 2013

When you were a kid, did you hate eating vegetables?

In school, was English grammar a boring subject?

If you answered yes to one or both of these questions, then EAT YOUR GRAMMAR is for you!

Of course, vegetables and grammar are not usually related. However, when you think about things that are unpleasant, you can sometimes find vegetables and grammar on the same list.

By connecting vegetables and grammar, I want to remind you of the time when your parents had to insist that you eat something that was very good for you but which you could not stand.

Likewise, perhaps you cannot stand English grammar, but you know that by studying it , you will become a better speaker, reader, and writer of the language. These short English grammar lessons are made to be used in connection with the English Makes Sense Conversation Caf and your English Makes Sense workBook.

Feel free to print these pages. If you like the text, exercises, and images, please cut them out and paste them in your workBook.

If you still do not like to eat your vegetables, wellIm sorry. EAT YOUR GRAMMAR will not help you enjoy the taste of spinach. However, I hope these mini-grammar lessons can help make English grammar more understandable and a little more fun to study.

As always, if you have questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Bon apptit & happy studying!
