8) Modern Chinese Commuinist Party: CCP no longer promotes communist ideas (other than still valuing helping the poor). Now it’s a oligarchy (party controls gov) with a capitalist socialist economy (more soc than Europe).

China is called communist now because the party that has total power is called the Communist Party, and only Communist Party members can have power, NOT BECAUSE ITS ECONOMY IS COMMUNIST, ITS NOW CAPITALIST SOCIALIST ECONOMY.
