• Since my magazine is in the genre of Alternative Rock, the ideal institution that would distribute my magazine would be Bauer. This is because they not only publish the magazines that I have been following and looking at for conventions (Q, Kerrang, MOJO) but also being a large media publishing group they have rock radio stations called “Plant Rock” and “97.4 RockFm with can be associated with my genre of music. My target audience is also based around 16 – 25 year olds mainly females, and since Bauer also publish magazines like Heat, Grazia and More! my target audiences would be buy those magazines too, and so the distribution of my magazine would be along with those magazines too.
