WHAT KIND OF INSTITUTION MIGHT DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT AND WHY? As the product has only been funded on a small budget I could turn to the BFI for funding that could help with distribution or maybe the web with sites like ‘kickstarter.com’ which could help to crowd fund the distribution. As a small British horror film it would be hard to get noticed by large distributors and there isn't that much opportunity (distribution companies) in the UK comparatively to America that I could turn to.

STUDIOCANAL could be a valid choice for a distributor as they often distribute lower budget British horror films such as ‘Sightseers’, ‘The Awakening’ as well as larger American horrors such as ‘The Evil Dead’.

DreamWorks SKG have helped to distribute horror films such as; ‘paranormal activity’ and ‘Sweeny Todd’ so it is possible that I could turn to them to help distribute my horror film.

Momentum pictures has produced some of the films that inspired my opening such as ‘Insidious’ and ‘Sinister’ as well as other horror films such as ‘House at the End of the Street’ which would make it a good choice for distributing my product.
