What is NetID?? - It’s your user ID at HCC. Your NetID provides access to MyHCC (Canvas) through which online classes are taught, Smarthinking 24/7 tutoring service, your HawkMail365 email, and web resources found on HawkNet/ WebAdvisor.

It is your first initial of your first name + your last name and any numbers + @hawkmail.hccfl.edu.

Example: Chris Lively = [email protected].

If there’s a number after the name: John Smith = [email protected]

Get there from the HCC Homepage > click “NetID.” You change your Password or unlock your account from the main “Go to NetID” page.

To look up your NetID, select the domain “Student,” enter your first, last, or logon name, and enter the security characters.

Select “Register with Password Manager.”

Your temporary password is your first initial of first name in UPPERCASE + first initial of last name in lower case + seven digit student ID. You must change your password at the prompt.

Example: Chris Lively, student ID# 4567899 = Cl4567899.
