INTRODUCING Team Mo' oleloOn January 9, 2011, a group of steadfast Mo ' olelo volunteers gathered to discuss the creation of
an auxiliary group of super volunteers. TEAM MO' OLELO was born. These volunteers each usher
our productions, staff special events, help with mailings, seek food sponsorships, make a monetary
donation to Mo' olelo and help with other items as needed. We say maha/o to them. If you are

Lorene ChesleyTAYLOR
Lorene Chesley went to the prestigious UCSD for her Master's of Fine Arts (2009)
and Temple University for undergraduate studies in Theater and Communications (2005).
Theatre Credits include: Paradise Street (Andrea and Marta), Danton's Death (La Croix),
As You LiJw It (Celia), Memphis the Birth of Rod.?and Roll (Delilah) and The Sbn of Our Teeth
(Fortune Teller). Film Credits include: The Inwgy Notion (Niece), Claudia Makes a
Difference (Claudia), and Workshop (Laura). Lorene is thrilled to be a part of such
a wonderful and endearing play with such a great group of people.
Hassan El-AminJOE LEVAY
A native of San Diego and a member of Actor's Equity, Hassan has performed at many theatres
across the country: Kennedy Center, Mark Taper Forum, The Goodman, Arena Stage, Guthrie
Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Huntington Theatre, Denver Theatre Center, Portland Center
Stage, Milwaukee Repertory, San Diego Repertory, Penumbra Theatre, Colorado, Utah, and
Oregon Shakespeare Festivals, in such roles as; Ben in Death of a Saleman, Troy Maxson in
Fences, Floyd Barton in Seven Guitars, Harmon Wilks in Radio Golf, Booster in Jitney, Lealand
in Blues for an Alabama Sky, Walter Lee in A Raisin in the Sun, Mufasa in The Lion King, Prospera in The Tempest, Marc
Antony in Julius Caesar, Edmund in King Lear, and Othello (title role). Education: MFA, University of Delaware.
Elizabeth M. KellyKIMBER
Elizabeth is a trained, disciplined and award winning actor. With a background in ballet,
opera and classical texts she is no stranger to conversational reality, gritty acrobatic word
play, and moment to moment artistry. Wanting to try everything, at least once, she had six
majors before settling on acting at the University of Memphis, Belmont University and the
University of Leeds in England. She eventually landed at the Atlantic Theater Company
studying and working in Manhattan. Most recently she can be seen on the new FX drama
'Terriers' and shooting the feature 'Minkow'. A perpetual child, student and wanderer, Liz has lived all over the
country as well as abroad. She also enjoys Comic-Con, long walks on the beach and will break for anything fluffy.

This production marks Matt's Mo' olelo debut. Favorite roles include: Orpheus - Polaroid
Stories, Seth -Joe Turner's Come and Gone, Guiderius - Cymbeline, Jim - Big River, LongaviIle
Love's Labors Lost, Judas - Jesus Christ Superstar, Pozzo - Waiting for Godot. He would like
to thank Mo' olelo, Larry and the Stich Fly cast for a wonderful experience. Matt would
like to give a special thanks to Tinia, bo and his family for their constant love and support.

Diona ReasonoverCHERYL
is an actor and improviser originally from Detroit, MI. After attaining her Bachelor's from
Oberlin College, and a Master's Degree from CalArts in theater, she went on to study improv
with the Second City. Past theater credits include For colored girls ...enuf (Lady in Blue), The
Cheny Orchard (Varya) and Romeo and Juliet (Juliet) with the Los Angeles Shakespeare Center.

Elizabeth is pleased to be returning to Mo' olelo Performing Arts Company. She has stage managed locally for The Old
Globe Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse and North Coast Repertory Theatre. Elizabeth was the Production Stage Manager
for the San Diego Symphony for four years. She has also stage managed for the Pasadena Playhouse, Seattle Repertory
Theatre, Tennessee Repertory Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company and the Acting Company.
Anthony Hawkins WoodsKENT / SPOON
Anthony is incredibly excited to make his San Diego debut with Mo' olelo Performing Arts
Company. Originally from Frankfort, KY, he received his BFA in Acting from the University
of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music. He was last seen in the role of Davey Battle in
Celebration Theatre's critically acclaimed production of Tal<eMe Out. Previous theatre credits
include Paul in Six Degrees of Separation, Belize in Angels in America Parts 1 & 2, Jed in Fifth
of July, and Guy in Blues for an Alabmna SI<y. Original works include Can God's Love Reach You
in the Darl<, The Michey and Judy Show, and Close But No Cigar. Film credits include the Academy Award winning film
TRAFFIC, MOMENT OF SILENCE, EXIT, and THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.
Lydia R. DiamondPLAYWRIGHT
is a Huntington Playwriting Fellow and a Resident Playwright at Chicago Dramatists. Her
plays include: Sticl< Fly (Huntingon Theatre, Arena Stage, McCarter Theatre Center; Black
Theatre Alliance Award - Best Play, Congo Square, True Colors Theatre Co., Contempo
rary American Theatre Festival), The Gift Horse (Goodman Theatre, Kesselring Prize-2nd
Place), Voyeurs de Venus (Joseph Jefferson Award - Best New Play, BTAA - Best Writing,
World Premiere Chicago Dramatists), and an adaptation of Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye
(Black Arts Alliance Image Award - Best New Play; Steppenwolf Theatre, The New Vic, NY,
Playmakers Rep, Theatre Alliance, D.C., New freedom Theatre, Plowshares, and upcoming at Long Wharf Theatre
Co., Hartford Stage, Providence Black Rep, Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, and Company One, Boston). Ms. Diamond's
newest play, Harriet Jacobs, received public readings at The Kennedy Center and London's Old Vic, and premiered
at Steppenwolf, where Ms. Diamond is a TCG/NEA Playwright in Residence. The Gift Horse is published in 7 Black
Plays, and The Bluest Eye, The Gift Horse, and Stage Blacl<are all available through Dramatic Publishing. She is at work
on commissions for McCarter Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville/Victory Gardens, Steppenwolf and Roundabout
Theatre Company. Ms. Diamond is a graduate of Northwestern University and currently teaches at Boston University.

Joe Huppert is delighted to work with Mo' olelo again, having previously designed Good Boys and Yellow Face. Other
local work includes Parasite Drag and Frozen for Ion Theater Company, Peter and the Starcatchers at the La Jolla Play
house, and Seven Against Thebes, Muzungu, In A Word and Clementine and the Cyber Ducl<s for UCSD. Regional work
includes Chicago productions Hizzoner, Over the Tavern, Early and Often, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Urine town and many
others. Joe is head of sound and video for La Jolla Playhouse and the UCSD Department of Theater.

Ingrid HeltonCOSTUME DESIGNER
A part of the local theatre costuming scene for almost 30 years, Ingrid has been a designer, cutter/tailor and a costume
shop manager. She most recently designed costumes for Mo' olelo's production of Yellow Face. Her designs have been
seen at the San Diego Repertory Theatre, Bowery Theatre, USD's MFA program, San Diego Actor's Theatre and Center
Rep in Walnut Creek, CA to name a few. Ingrid was the head cutter/tailor for the OGT for 18 years. She has managed
the costume shops at the San Diego Rep, The San Diego Opera and is the current Costume Shop Supervisor for La Jolla
Playhouse. Ingrid has taught locally for FIDM and FCC schools. She holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Stephens
College, Columbia, Mo.
