There are HUNDREDS of ways, but here are three that cost you nothing extra and help families afford Christ-centred education. 1. Get your church on board If every church with an SCCS student contributed as little as $1,000, SCCS would have $30,000. Ask yours about giving, today! 3. Help the Second Chance Community Store Our store accepts gently used donations of household items, furniture, appliances and building material, reselling them and generating funds for the school. As you can imagine, the store relies heavily on volunteers to do pick ups, donation sorting, liſting, cash work and refurbishing. Last year, approximately $1,000 was raised for each family at SCCS. Reaching $1,500 or even $2,000 is possible in the near future with more contributions from volunteers, shoppers and donors. So there you have it... No one likes tuition, but there are many ways to lessen this burden.
