6th Sunday in Ordinary Time “Blessed are you..."
- Luke 6:20
In these politically charged times, we often question one another’s values. We assume we can
identify our own, but it is not always easy. At some point, we all need to consider where our faith is rooted
and what difference that makes in our life choices. Today’s readings address these centuries-old questions quite directly. They matter, because who and what we believe in undergirds every aspect of our lives. What
would our personal inventories reveal?
SFX Men’s Shelter Dinner Monday, February 25th
It’s time again for us, the SFX family, to prepare a dinner for about 125 homeless men at the Men’s Shelter! We prepare the dinner at the Emmaus Center (4335 S. Salina St) from noon until done.
Then, around 4:00, we take the food to the Men’s Shelter and serve the dinner.
We need 4 to 6 volunteers for meal prep. Plus, we need people to deliver the food and serve the men.
If interested, please call the rectory at 673-2531.
JOHN PAUL II CENTER FOR WOMEN
Letter to Women (Endow Study) Based on the thoughts of Saint John Paul II, this study is an introduction to the Christian concept of woman and her indispensable role in the Church, the family,
society, and the world.

Humanae Vitae (Endow Study) This is Pope Paul VI’s long-awaited and controversial encyclical explaining the beauty of marriage and the
sanctity of human life within that bond. This study is important because it addresses many questions modern
Catholics have battled in today's culture dealing with human love in relationships. This is the missing
foundation to the pro-life movement.
