Area of rectangle = base x height Area of triangle = ½ x base x perp height = 5 x 3 = ½ x 4 x 6 =15 cm² = 12 cm²

Area = base x perp height Area of square = base x height of = 6 x 7 = 4 x 4 parallelogram = 42 cm² = 16 cm²

Practice

4cm

The dashes mean the sides are equal

in length
