We would like you to become familiar with the ADDIE process
of designing instruction.
We would like you to:
create clear goals and objectives for your instruction.
design instruction with the goal in mind.
evaluate instruction with the goal in mind.
be open to revising instruction with the goal in mind.
realize that instruction is forever evolving.
Instructional design is an adaptive, learner-centered, integrative, systematic and creative process to analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate and revise effective instruction.
Every learner is part of one or more systems.
To effect real change in our learners (help learning occur), it helps to understand their systems.

Gain attention
Inform learner of objectives
Stimulate recall of prior learning
Present stimulus material
Provide learner guidance
Elicit performance
Provide feedback
Assess performance
Enhance retention and transfer
