Acolyte training will begin on Sunday,
September 13 at 3:00 in the sanctuary. We
will meet for three weeks Sept. 13, 20, and
27. Acolyting is an important part of our
worship in carrying the light of Christ into
worship and out into the world as well as
serving as a worship assistant. All 3rd
graders and older (including adults) are welcome to join

All rising 6th graders and above who have not
been confirmed and their parents are invited to
meet with Reverend Kyle on Sunday, August 23
at 9:30 a.m. in the Parlor. We will be discussing
the details of this year’s confirmation class.

Youth Backyard Bible Study
Backyard Bible Study is the youth group gathering during August. We will meet
behind the Family Life Center, have a time of study, eat snacks, and enjoy the
fellowship of each other. We are meeting @ 6:30 on August 23, and 30.

Sunday, for students who are being
promoted into a new Sunday School Class!
All students and teachers are asked to gather
in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m.
Voices in Bronze, a new youth handbell choir for grades 6-9,
will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, September 2 at 5:00 p.m. in
the handbell room 205. There are 10 positions to fill. Music
reading is not required to join and ringers may invite friends to
join. Come join the fun!

We conclude our sermon series on the Gospel of John, chapter 6
