Epworth Childrens Home goes above and beyond providing food and shelter for children who have experienced abuse, neglect and tragedy. It provides children with tutoring, counseling, health care, fun activities, and the spiritual formation they need to heal and gain a sense of belonging. Through the ministry of Epworth Childrens Home we open our doors to these children, surround them with comprehensive care and provide them with the opportunity to transform their lives. On Sunday, September 8 th our congregation will stand with Epworth to break the cycle of abuse, neglect and shame through our collection of the Annual Epworth Work Day Offering. Without the support of churches like ours, Epworth could not provide transformational care for children in need. We invite you to give generously to the children who call Epworth home. Christ healing an infirm woman on the Sabbath,

by James Tissot (1886-1896)

Each year it is the privilege of our congregation to

give our 3rd graders the gift of a Bible with a prayer

that they would construct their whole lives around the

words of the God of life, love and faith. Please

register your 3rd grade child with the church office or

Josh Tietje by Wednesday, September 4.

Registration is open for our Wonderful Wednesday

elementary after school program. Forms are available in the

Commons and Church Office. Please return forms to the church

office or via email to [email protected]. Please

contact Josh Tietje with any questions.

Let us bring in the Light of Christ! Acolyte

training will begin on Sunday, September

15 at 3:00 in the Sanctuary. We will meet

for three weeks September 15, 22, & 29.

Acolyting is an important part of our

worship in carrying the light of Christ into worship and out into

the world as well as serving as a worship assistant. All 3rd

graders and older (including adults) are welcome to join us.

Please see Rev. Kyle for more information or questions

[email protected].

UMYF and Bridge Resume: Sunday, September 8th all
