REPORTS
o DirectorsReportTheDirectorsupdatedtheBoardonthemarketingandoutreacheffortsincludingparentmeetings,registrationmeetings,socialmedia,newsletters,andabubbleparty.InJunetherewillbeamovienightattheSorensonCenter.ThelunchprogramisbeingevaluatedwithGraniteSchoolDistrictandwouldincludeabreakfastintheclassroom.Thelunchprogramwouldprovidelotsofoptionsforthekidstochoosefromeachday.Hiringisunderwayandtheyareinterviewingalotofcandidates.Curriculumisstillbeingpurchasedandtheymetwithanotherschooltogainadditionalinsightoncurriculummanagement.TheSchoolLANDTrustPlanhasbeenawarded.ThemeetingwithUSOEtocompletethecharteragreementisinJuneandthepre-openingchecklistmeetingisThursday.
o ConstructionUpdate
WallaceStegnerAcademywillfosteracommunityofactivelearnersthroughacademicrigorandcitizenshipbyprovidinganopportunityforstudentstoachieveacademicexcellence.

Theprogressontheschoolincludesthemainfloorbeingpainted,tileandcarpetbeinginstalled,cabinetryhasbeendelivered.Theschoolisaheadofscheduleandlooksfantastic.
o BudgetReportColeArnolddiscussedtheallotmentsforSchoolLANDTrustfunds.Thefurniturepurchasewillbecompletedsoonalongwithkitchenequipment.ThemonthlyreportstotheBoardwillstartbeingemailedoutandtheBoardwillhavetheabilitytodrilldownasfarastheywishonrivetingbudgetdetails.
VOTINGITEMS
o AdministrationofMedicationPolicyThechangestothepolicyregardingseizuresandthetypicalneedswereconsidered.ReedFarnsworthmadeamotiontoapprovetherevisedAdministrationofMedicationPolicy;AndrewBernsteinseconded.Motionpassedunanimously.
o PayrollProviderTheBoardreviewedthecontractwithA-Plus,thepricing,andtheservices.Thetimeframeforpayingsalariedandhourlyemployeeswasreviewed.FrankMaganamadeamotiontoapproveA-PlusasthePayrollProviderandenterintoaprofessionalemployeragreement;ReedFarnsworthseconded.Motionpassedunanimously.
o AuditCommitteeBrandonFairbanksdiscussedthelegislativechangesthatnowrequiretheBoardtoadoptaBudgetOfficerandanAuditCommitteetooverseefinances.AndrewBernsteinmadeamotiontoapprovetheauditcommitteetobetheBoardChairandtheFinancialCoordinator;ReedFarnsworthseconded.Motionpassedunanimously.
