Motion passed unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT o Sherilyn Anderson commented on her outreach efforts on behalf of the school getting library books and kitchen equipment. REPORTS o Directors Report The Directors updated the Board on the marketing and outreach efforts including parent meetings, registration meetings, social media, newsletters, and a bubble party. In June there will be a movie night at the Sorenson Center. The lunch program is being evaluated with Granite School District and would include a breakfast in the classroom. The lunch program would provide lots of options for the kids to choose from each day. Hiring is underway and they are interviewing a lot of candidates. Curriculum is still being purchased and they met with another school to gain additional insight on curriculum management. The School LAND Trust Plan has been awarded. The meeting with USOE to complete the charter agreement is in June and the pre-opening checklist meeting is Thursday. o Construction Update Wallace Stegner Academy will foster a community of active learners through academic rigor and citizenship by providing an opportunity for students to achieve academic excellence.

o BudgetReportColeArnolddiscussedtheallotmentsforSchoolLANDTrustfunds.Thefurniturepurchasewillbecompletedsoonalongwithkitchenequipment.ThemonthlyreportstotheBoardwillstartbeingemailedoutandtheBoardwillhavetheabilitytodrilldownasfarastheywishonrivetingbudgetdetails.

o AdministrationofMedicationPolicyThechangestothepolicyregardingseizuresandthetypicalneedswereconsidered.ReedFarnsworthmadeamotiontoapprovetherevisedAdministrationofMedicationPolicy;AndrewBernsteinseconded.Motionpassedunanimously.
o PayrollProviderTheBoardreviewedthecontractwithA-Plus,thepricing,andtheservices.Thetimeframeforpayingsalariedandhourlyemployeeswasreviewed.FrankMaganamadeamotiontoapproveA-PlusasthePayrollProviderandenterintoaprofessionalemployeragreement;ReedFarnsworthseconded.Motionpassedunanimously.
