INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION 1. A 2 Years course of MA Translation Studies started in 2007-08.2. UGC Sponsored the course under Innovative Programme in April 20073. MA Translation Studies comprises of 4 semesters.4. A Computer Lab is established in 2008-09.5. A Board of Studies is formulated and syllabus is frequently evaluated.6. Strength of the Department is qualified and dedicated faculty

7. Emerging areas of Translation Studies are selected for teaching and research activities.

1. Translations : Every year each student is engaged in practical translation activity. Every students is translating one booklet from English to Urdu and one booklet from Urdu to English.
2. Workshops and Counseling : i. On weakly basis classroom workshop are organised for and by students under the guidance of concerned faculty.ii. On daily basis counseling sessions are organised for weak learners.iii. Special remedial classes are organised in every semester.
3. Participation in Competitions : Students are regularly motivated by the faculty to take participation in various competitions and sports activities within the University and outside.
