• 100% of White British People had seen a Short film. 90% watched at least every month. 35% were unemployed students, 15% were employed part time and 45% were employed full time. Only 5% were unemployed and not looking for a job.

• A group that emerged as people watching either for general interest or for their job was White, British males with full time jobs. They typically are married with a child (not normally more than 2 children average 1.5), have at least a BSc/Ba Hons degree and live in either the South East or South West. They are not normally religious but a small group of them were Christians as opposed to any other religion.

• Those that wrote that they were unemployed students or watched short films for student research came from a variety of backgrounds, races, religions, with different Sexual Orientations, marital status' and hobbies viewed short films as research for their studies.
