• Think back to the days of flashy, one-piece neon pink and green ski suits and you'll be reminded why Snowboarding Fashion is so necessary in this day and age.

• Snowboard Fashion has the ability to be part of mainstream fashion without sacrificing what it’s all about.

• This year, snowboard trends were better spotted on the half pipe then on the runway.

• This winter, riders were spotted wearing basic graphics, electric neons, and even Olympians were dressed to kill.

Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games

• Vermont-based snowboard company Burton designed Team USA’s snowboarding apparel for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games

• The uniforms are a tribute to classic Americana, featuring a preppy plaid-printed jacket in red, white and blue and snowboard pants resembling worn vintage jeans.

• Burton wanted to ensure that the uniforms met the needs of all riders and incorporated the performance benefits of Gore-Tex ® into the uniforms.
