YES. is a way of living my life.
YES. is more than what people expect it to be.
YES. is my life and soul!
YES. to me represents the essence of snowboarding, the roots, the reason
why I am addicted to this lifestyle. YES. is a passion. YES. makes me want to
go out everyday and shred pow. YES. makes me want to be a kid again, to
play and have fun with my friends and family. YES. comes from the heart and
is meant to inspire others to live their own snowboarding dream.
When you do something for a real cause, you can finally feel free to put
your heart and soul into it. YES. is like releasing a caged animal back into
its natural habitat.

In life, when we chose lines we some-times take the safe and easy one. But that is not what David, or this board is about. All elements in the design were hand painted. Acrylics, charcoal, India ink and a bit of collage in the design all work together to achieve a chaotic, wild kind of energy. The finished works were all freestyled in the moment - nothing was planned out. As in the backcountry, you have to pick your line as you go, and some-times things get a little wild.

“It seems like this board goes where I think I want him to go. I just pick a line, and he will hold it down in any kind of terrain and snow conditions. But of course, powder is his favourite.” - DCP
The Pick Your Line is what DCP has been using to pull
rank on the rest of us for a couple of years now. A
directional shape loaded with Freeride Camrock, this
board is deadly enough to tackle legitimate lines and
handle speed with authority, yet nimble enough to
smash pillows and rip tree runs with cat-like reflex.
THE POWER AND THE GLORY.

“The Asym has everything I need in a board - it lets me ride absolutely everything!” – JP
THEGREATSFrom the Great Dudes of History, to the Great Beauties of
History, we figured it was about time we got people talking
about the Greats that really matter. Re-shaped and revised
for 2013, the groundbreaking ‘Asym Twin’ provides a
deeper heel sidecut than toe, and rides switch so good
you’ll forget which way you stand.
So the only question left is… who are your Greats?

Page 13Page 12THE420Strange things happen when the boys spend too much
time together. Designs like the 420 appear and, just
like the backcountry freestyle they helped revolutionize,
straight up pow riding enters a new dimension. Super
short, super fat, super float… super baked. With or with-
out bindings, you’re in for some good times.
- RIDE: Powder- CONTACT: PowRock- FLEX: Med/Soft + Directional- OUTLINE: Directional Twin + NoWrap Edges- BASE: Sintered, Die-Cut Base- GLASS: Biax- CORE: Master Comp Core
The 420 shape is an odd mix of what’s expected and unexpected in a snowboard. It seemed only fitting that the graphic followed this approach. As most people would expect a “pow board” to showcase a wood veneer topsheet or some other surf/hippy theme, I thought I should comply… sort of.Inspired by the WrongWoods furniture collection, the topsheet is a blown-up, hand-drawn illustration of wood grain. The end result is an unexpected graphic that manages to poke a little fun at its self. Lighten up, bro.

Tadashi loves skateboarding as much as he does snowboarding. His love goes further than just the act of skating but includes the whole culture of skateboarding. There have been plenty of snow graphics that look like skate graphics/themes in the past, so we decided to keep the graphic fairly simple and offer a different concept. Tadashi’s deck comes with sheets of grip-tape-like decals for the rider to apply in any fashion. This way each rider can contribute his or her own artistic flavor to the board. The base graphic, inspired by Manga comics, also represents the multinational makeup of the YES. team.

TDFIf you are smart enough to understand Tadashi’s
untouchable dominance on a snowboard, it should
come as no surprise that the cambered power and
bouncy flex of the TDF is key to his supremacy.
This true twin skates the park with focused flow
and cracks ollies with Samurai skill, all with the
ability to float through the pow like a silent assassin.

TROUBLEBeyond categorization, the Trouble and its Tragna
Maction handles the slopes with unnatural ease.
Grippy, stable, and pre-loaded with Camrock Pop, this
is a kicker-killing machine with legendary game. Skill
you can work on, but style… that’s something you’ve
either got or ya’ don’t.

Who doesn’t agree on Tupac and Biggie? They’re like the Hall and Oates of hip-hop. Making this design for Trevor was real ly awesome. Seeing him so passionate about these dudes and being able to facilitate that really rules. If everyone who sees these decks throws on ‘All About You’ or ‘Juicy’, my work is done.

JACKPOTWith an eye for the unexpected, the snappy soft pop
of the Jackpot’s newly designed Humps core profile
and Tragna Maction, turns park and pipe riding into a
strangely simple game. With its classic True Twin shape,
grease the rails and boxes of your local park with some
serious skate influence thanks to low weight and un-
matched ollie power.

THEBASICDepends on how you look at it. Loaded with progressive
tech like directional flex and Camrock, it’s fairly advanced.
Stripped down to a true twin and centered stance, it’s a
shape that’s worked for years. Anyway you cut it, The Basic
has all-mountain freestyle straight-up handled.

A BROAD PERSPECTIVE.
“This board makes me feel good when I ride.” - ROMAIN
THEPUBLICGiven a choice, the Public prefers cold steel - the waste-
land of urban landscapes, homemade jib parks and a
tallboy. Flatrock base profile keeps things loose, and
Humps core-profiling makes for an easy ollie with a soft
deck. Public space is there for your amusement – use it.

While living in New York City I would take the subway everyday. Besides people watching, I loved all the advertising in the platforms and see-ing the natural decomposition of them. Layers and layers, rips, tears and satiric collage work all creating really dynamic imagery. This was the inspiration behind the series. To really create these natural accidents, I knew I could not compose them all on my own. With the help of two other New York Creative’s - Pete Panciera & Michael Smoley - we set out to let the accidents happen.

BASIC JR.Who said you had to wait to ride the same board as
Romain and JP? The Basic Jr. is literally a bite-sized
version of the same board they ride. With soft flex and
a Flat Rock base profile, rest assured your smaller
stature can manage this board with the same firepower
as the pros.

The Basic Jr. is the school of flight.Learn to fly like the guys you look up to.These small birds represent the will to take flight on a sport and a culture so inspiring to a kid. Just remember the first time you rode - all doors were wide open, and everything seemed possible in this new world with so many good friends, feelings and vibes. This is just the first step.Enjoy.
