Choose the correct verb that completes the sentence.

Figurative Language Competition

Step #1• Discuss the figurative language you found in

your lyrics with your teammates. • After discussing, choose THREE strong

examples ( 1 from each person) to submit for credit. Make sure they are your BEST three examples!!!

Step #2

• Each team will share their examples with the larger group, and remaining team has to decide which example of figurative language is being used.

• The team will have to write down their selection, and the team that shows the correct answer first will get a point. (Note* each team member must have the correct answer written down in order to get the point.)

The winning team(s) will get DONUTS tomorrow!
