Dan 1:3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz

the master of his eunuchs, that he should

bring certain of the children of Israel, and of

the king's seed, and of the princes;

4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well

favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and

cunning in knowledge, and understanding

science, and such as had ability in them to

stand in the king's palace, and whom they

might teach the learning and the tongue of

the Chaldeans.

Critics have said that since the name

Ashpenaz, the master of the eunuchs,

could not be found, he must not have

existed.

However, during the last quarter of this

century the name Ashpenaz has been

found inscribed on Babylonian

monuments now located in the British

Museum: "Ashpenaz, master of eunuchs

in the time of Nebuchadnezzar."

"Of the king's seed and of princes"

indicates that these children were the elite

of Israel.

The Babylon of Nebuchadnezzar had a

worldview or belief system.

Daniel and company were about to be

educated for Nebuchadnezzar's New

World Order.

The usual education of youths began as

early as age 14.

The words used may imply that they were

between 15 years and 20 years of age.

It's possible that they could be as young

as 12 years according to the word used

for children.

The use of the word “Chaldeans”

indicates that they were to be trained to

be of the class called Magi.

Our world today has a vision of a New

World Order.

On 31 March 1994, the Goals 2000:

Educate America Act became law.

The law impacted all 15,700 school

districts and was labeled a “massively

intrusive bureaucratic nightmare.”

The intent of Goals 2000 was to shift

allegiance from family and country and

redirect it toward global citizenship and one-

world government.

The Goals 2000 program, known as Mastery

Learning, incorporated a plan to re-socialize

our children – this plan has been replaced in

succeeding administrations with other plans.

The Common Core Standard of today is not

written using an accepted standard such as

ANSI.

Common Core was promoted, funded, and

heavily dominated by the Gates

Foundation and the U.S. Department of

Education.

There was and is no process for appeal or

revision of common core.

There was no significant input by

responsible interested parties or teachers.

This is a corporate and government

mandate to control education for

corporate and political interests.

In our emerging New World Order we

need to mold "global citizens.”

One of the three major goals of the 1967

The Behavioral Teacher Education Project

is the:

“Development of a new kind of elementary

school teacher who... engages in teaching

as clinical practice... and functions as a

responsible agent of social change.”

A Change Agent!

Do corporations and government have the

interests of our children and our way of

American life that many have worked so

hard for at heart?

If so, why do they fight so hard to change

the meaning of our Constitution.

This change that can be seen coming

today has been the goal of humanistic

education for many years.

As we shall see by Nebuchadnezzar's

dream of the tree in chapter 4, this dream

indicated that Nebuchadnezzar planned to

re-institute Nimrod's plan for a one-world

system.

He brought together the best and

brightest from the foreign cultures he

conquered.

He educated them in one language to

bring together all knowledge and talent

under Babylonian control.

The melting pot of the United States has

accomplished the same thing.

The various talents and knowledge

inherent in the individual races are

brought together under one tongue to

produce the greatness that is America.

Daniel 1:4 says that they were to be

educated in the “learning and tongue of

the Chaldeans.”

Nimrod built Babylon to challenge God by

a united mankind.

Nebuchadnezzar sought to challenge God

by bringing together all knowledge.

The nations today are coming together to

challenge God once more.

We are to have a global society where we

will be world citizens governed by a world

government.

Today's nations are reviving the

Babylonian system.

The final Babylon will be destroyed in a

single day, in fact, in one hour according

to the book of Revelation:

REV 18:1 And after these things I saw

another angel come down from heaven,

having great power; and the earth was

lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice,

saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,

and is become the habitation of devils, and

the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of

every unclean and hateful bird….

Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is

11 And the merchants of the earth shall

weep and mourn over her; for no man

buyeth their merchandise any more….

was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and

scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious

to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the

company in ships, and sailors, and as many

her burning, saying, What city is like unto

this great city!

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and

cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas,

alas that great city, wherein were made rich

all that had ships in the sea by reason of her

more at all in thee; and the voice of the

bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard

no more at all in thee: for thy merchants

were the great men of the earth; for by thy

sorceries were all nations deceived.

slain upon the earth.

Note in verses 17 and 18 that ships could

see the destruction of the end-times

“Babylon.”

Babylon itself is not near the sea.

Could this refer to the United States, in

which is New York City, the home of the

United Nations, that modern "Tower of

Babel"?

Possibly – However, Babylon was being

rebuilt by Saddam Hussain who thought

of himself as Nimrod, and the United

States has built a vastly huge new

embassy complex situated near the Tigris

River at Bagdad.

Obviously there were big plans

considered for Iraq’s future during the

Bush administration.

the world has ever seen, at one and a half

square miles, big enough for 94 football fields.

It cost three quarters of a billion dollars to build

(coming in about $150 million over budget).

Inside its high walls, guard towers and

buildings, including residential quarters, a gym

and swimming pool, commercial facilities, a

The Bible predicts that Babylon will be the

headquarters of a great commerce and

financial center that will fall in one hour

with tremendous effect on the world

economy (Rev 18).

The “kings of the east” will gather at the

Euphrates on their way to Armageddon

{Rev 16:12}.

Nimrod's original Babylonian religious

system, founded before the Tower of

Babel, has infected all cultures and

religions of the world, and the last day's

religion will revert back as the various

religions compromise their doctrines and

meld into a one-world religion to

complement the one-world New World

Order.

Efforts to do just that is underway by both

Catholic and Protestant leaders.

Dan 1:5 And the king appointed them a daily

provision of the king's meat, and of the wine

which he drank: so nourishing them three

years, that at the end thereof they might

stand before the king.

This was a plan for seduction and

brainwashing.

They were to remain Jews but to be

Babylonian in their thinking.

Are we doing the same today with our

children in our public school systems, as

Hitler did with the "Hitler youth”?

Hitler didn't need the old, he had already

persuaded the children.

The world system seeks open-

mindedness, our young are made to

believe that everything is relative, and that

there are no absolutes.

Once they believe this (no absolutes),

they can be molded to believe anything

the world system desires.

This was the purpose of Goals 2000, and

succeeding governmental education

plans, to restructure a global society with

willing workers.

A new way of thinking is being

encouraged by changing the minds of the

children.

According to Allan Bloom: "Truth is

relative" is the mantra that the public

school for the past fifty years has been

promoting diligently.

“There is one thing a professor can be

absolutely certain of: almost every

student entering the university believes,

or says he believes, that truth is relative....

“Relativism is necessary to open-

mindedness; and this is the virtue, the

only virtue, which all primary education

for more than fifty years has dedicated

itself to inculcating. Openness--and the

relativism that makes it the only plausible

stance in the face of various claims to

truth and various ways of life and kinds of

human beings--is the great insight of our

The education system is dedicated to

teaching that “truth is relative.”

If truth is relative, then there are no

absolutes.

If there are no absolutes, then there is no

basis for law.

Then the Constitution and the Ten

Commandments are nothing more than

suggestions.

According to Samuel L. Blumenfeld, in his

1984 book N.E.A.: Trojan Horse In

American Education there were,

“24 million functional illiterates in the

United States, virtually all of whom have had

from eight to twelve years of compulsory

public schooling.”

He indicates that this was a result of a

change in teaching methods after 1930.

He goes on to say:

“To believe that such massive functional

illiteracy is an unplanned phenomenon

beyond the control of anyone is to believe

that our educators with all of their

doctoral degrees literally don't know what

they are doing.”

He further states that:

“It was John Dewey [the father of

progressive education] who first

formulated the notion that high literacy is

an obstacle to socialism. Dewey knew

that the new teaching methods would not

produce better readers. He assumed that

their reading would improve 'later.'

Incredible as it may seem, for Dewey the

social goals justified the use of these new

teaching instruction methods.”

The reason that high literacy is

undesirable to Dewey and others in the

New World Order crowd is that literacy

fosters independent thinking and inhibits

the establishment of a new socialist order.

John Dewey was a “pragmatist.” – we will

explain pragmatism later in this lesson to

see why the new method was more

important than truth.

According to William J. Bennett:

“Many of the elite correctly understood

that civilization's major task is the

upbringing of children; if they could alter

the ways we raised children by changing

the way we teach them, they could then

alter our American society to suit their

view of the world.”

UCLA professor Walker Bush indicates

that,

“[T]he long-term goal of the World Order

Program at UCLA is to provide an

introductory course in globalist thinking to

every entering student. Their aim is, in

short, to refocus the entire ethos of higher

education. In addition, the University will

offer upper-level degrees in various global

issues in order to turnout cadre of new-

world-order scholars and strategists.”

The Global Mindset

Chuck Colson and Jack Eckerd write:

“Education, that had for centuries formed

character along with imparting knowledge,

now became a "value-free" instrument of

social therapy and experimentation that

institutionalized the freewheeling lifestyle

of the sixties. Sidney Simon of the

University of Massachusetts, chief

promoter of the ubiquitous "values

clarification," believed that teaching values

to children was a form of brainwashing.”

The Global Mindset

Just as in Daniel's day, there is a

"Babylonian" belief system at work in this

nation.

It consists of four parts and is responsible

for the mindset, or worldview, of the

people educated in our society today.

These four parts consist of Humanism,

Existentialism, Pragmatism, and New Age

Mysticism.

HUMANISM

HumanismThe beliefs of Humanism are:

1. There is no God, man is the measure of all

things.

2. Man is basically good.

3. Whatever man desires is right for him.

4. Education is about learning to live in a

world where God either does not exist or

is irrelevant.

5. Laws need not conform to any higher

standard than what men of the moment

desire.

Secular humanists methods and

goals

Secular humanists have gravitated to four

major fields for three centuries-and in this

order.

1. Education--from day-care centers to

graduate schools.

2. Government--the promotion of anti-

moral legislation.

Humanism3. Law--the best professional springboard

to politics, but also a controlling

influence over the judicial system.

4. Media-- the most effective way to

communicate their ideology to the

masses as:

a. Journalists

b. Writers

c. Publishers

d. TV and radio owners, producers, script

and screen writers, directors, actors,

newscasters and talk-show hosts.

Gradually, however, we have been

secularized and don’t think for a moment

it was an accident!

It was all planned by humanists.

Humanism Their strategy:

First: Take over the colleges and

universities, turning them into religious

citadels for the teaching of the religion of

humanism while excluding or ridiculing

the teachings of traditional religions

based on the Bible.

Second: Train the next generation of

journalists, lawyers, politicians, educators

and other molders of “public opinion.”

Humanism Third: Get former students now in

government to pass laws and regulations

favorable to humanist causes and vote

them large amounts of money collected

from taxes to support their work.

It is all about the basic

goodness of MAN or SELF.

It is also about changing the

worldview of the individual.

Existentialism An existentialist believes that:

1. Life is viewed as meaningless.

2. Life is a system of choices. The

existentialist is one that is "pro choice."

3. Immorality is defined as anything that

hinders your act of choosing what you

desire. Morality is personal.

4. "Law" or "Constitution" become

meaningless. Our only standards are

those we choose at the moment.

5. Education is about becoming true to

yourself.

6. Decision-making skills teach only a

process of exploring and affirming

choices.

7. The existentialist is alienated from his

neighbor because everyone threatens his

freedom to choose.

It is all about the right to

choose for YOU.

Pragmatism A pragmatist (John Dewey) believes that:

1. If truth is not practical; it serves no

purpose.

2. Education to the pragmatist is

learning to do, not think. It

emphasizes training, not insight.

3. Education is viewed by the state as a

tool to produce more productive

workers. State desired "outcomes"

become important.

Pragmatism4. In the judicial system pragmatic

judges are tempted to rule so as to

gain the desired outcome, creating

new law rather than applying the law.

It is all about what is

practical rather than what

is true.

NEW AGE

MYSTICISM

New Age Mysticism New Age Mysticism is:

1. New Age mysticism is a spiritual

philosophy derived from Humanism and

mystical religious ideas of Eastern

religions.

2. This is the humanist's attempt at

spirituality.

3. Man is no longer basically good, he is

basically god.

New Age Mysticism5. The teacher no longer teaches but

facilitates student self-discovery.

6. The student no longer learns but

intuitively senses what is right.

7. God is a cosmic force that requires no

obedience, no worship, and no humility.

This is the perfect god for the “me-

generation.”

It is all about being basically god,

rather than basically good.

Modern Belief Results

All of these belief systems reinforce in the

minds of our children the idea that truth is

relative and that everything we desire is

right for us – and, don't impose your

beliefs on others – and we are gods.
