THE VICTORY THAT GOD HAS WAITING FOR US

Enjoy the peace of revival. (30)-

“And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him

rest on every side.”

Do you have that peace today in your heart?

Don’t be afraid of your enemies, let your enemies

be afraid of you! (29)

“The fear of God came upon all the kingdoms of the countries

when they heard how the LORD had fought against the

enemies of Israel.”

Are you filled with fear or faith?

Rejoice in victory. (18-28)

Are you filled with praise and victory?

This is the life that God has planned for you.

Here’s how to put yourself in position to receive it.

Be aware there is an overwhelming enemy

around us that can easily defeat us.

(1-3a) “After this, the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites came to

make war on Jehoshaphat. Some men came and told

Jehoshaphat, ‘A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side

of the Sea. It is already in En Gedi. And he was afraid.”

If Israel had entered into this battle on their own, they would have been destroyed in a short time by this army

of enemies.

Our first step to victory is to understand that there is no way that we will be able to defeat our

enemies on our own.

Seek our help from God. (2 Chronicles 20:3-4, 12)

“Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he

proclaimed a fast for all Judah. The people of Judah came together to seek help

from the LORD; indeed, they came from every town in

Judah to seek him.”

Oh our God, will you not judge them? For we have no

power against this great multitude that is coming

against us; nor do we know what to do,

but our eyes are upon You.

Do you have enemies today that are attacking you?

Where are you seeking your help?

Listen for the Spirit to speak and then OBEY Him!

(14-17)

“Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel

son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel,

the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the

assembly. He said: ‘Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all

who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged

because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours,

but God's. Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the

Desert of Jeruel. You will not have to fight this battle.

Take up your positions; stand firm and see the

deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and

Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with

you.’”

We have a powerful option available to help us fight our

enemies-the Holy Spirit of God that lives in us.

The turning point in revival is when God’s people trust Him and His promises enough to

obey Him.

Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the

people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come

against Judah; and they were defeated.

The Lord is waiting on you to trust Him with your life.

When you do He will begin to work powerfully in you and

through you.

Pray with me: Lord, forgive me of any sin

in my life so I can fellowship freely with You.

Revive me.

Help me to think like Jesus thought so I can live like He

lived.

Give me the desire to think on things that are pure and noble and reject thinking on things

that are not.

Renew my mind so I can be transformed into the image of Jesus and not conformed to

the image of this world.

Work IN me and THROUGH me to change my world!

Help me to live as a servant of the king and may all I do be for

the glory of the name of King Jesus.
