How is an opinion put together?

• The cover page• First introductory paragraph• Summary• Background• General comments• Summary and recommendations

2. Choose your group, draft and submit amendments

• Each student chooses the EESC group he will represent: Group I, Group II, Group III

• Amendments: minimum 1, maximum 3 per school (in a language of your choice)

• Deadline for tabling amendments to the plenary session by groups: 31 March 2011

4. Become an EESC "member"

• 3 students become EESC members and come to Brussels to represent their class

• Before coming, each student chooses the EESC group he will represent: Group I, Group II, Group III

5. In Brussels: meet with your group

• Each group must reach agreement on 5 amendments to table at the plenary session

6. Brussels: the plenary session

• Debate and vote on the opinion which best represents public interests
